Nice Job! John, I think I will be investing in more chrome paint to use on mine instead of using the reflective stickers. Your model is looking really great! Thanks, Eric
Hi John, I thought I'd drop you a brief note to say that I absolutely love your channel! I've been building the Hachette Titanic here in Canberra for several months. I am up to Issue 41. I always look forward to your Titanic videos as they provide me with a prelude of what I've got to look forward to. Keep up the great work John!!
There are 20 lifeboats in all John. The forward most davitt on the boat deck will have 2 boats - 1 swung out and 1 on the deck blocks either side and then the 2 on top of the officers quarters. So if there are 2 tarpaulins spare the Hatchet will be sending 2 more lifeboats I would assume. Great videos by the way - very helpful.
Thanks for your comment and watching. I have 20 boats and 2 spare tarpaulins, which is correct for the TItanic. The 2 spare tarpaulins are a different size, so that must be why Hachette changed them. 🤔
Could remove pcb temporarily while fitting reflective strip as stated. I noticed that there’s still some light bleed through the walls it might be an idea paint the inside of the walls to reduce the bleed
No, you can paint or accept the light bleed. It is easier to use water to slide the sticker into place but don't forget to dry it off before powering on. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Hi John great video thanks. I'm useless at doing the wiring so I've taken a few screen shots of how you've done it .question!! Can i leave it the way you've got it set up ? Thanks John 🎉
Hi John, It's Mark from Tamworth NSW Australia in issue 62 you say AP screws in the bracket but when watching your details you mention AM screws in the bracket. Regards Mark
Super !!!! Enfin nous reprenons la coque du navire !!!
Its good to get off the decking. Thanks for watching!
@@JohnsModelmaking Thanks for the video !!!

Could remove pcb temporarily while fitting reflective strip as stated. I noticed that there’s still some light bleed through the walls it might be an idea paint the inside of the walls to reduce the bleed
Yes, I did, finally. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Do we have to put the strips in nightmare to fit

Thanks Rod 😊 I have followed the instructions, so yes. Issue 64 has more wiring to connect, which I haven't started, but it looks easy enough.
@@JohnsModelmaking thanks John 👌

Yes, the magazine instructions are wrong. The AM screws are used for the bracket. 👍

It corrected itself after an advert showed up.

Yes, I also did that until Hachette provided the reflective stickers. Thank you for your comment and watching 👀 🙏 😊
