watch out lawrence lol. monday morning quarterback i never heard of. bye felicia never heard that either
Bye Felicia is more of a my generation thing I think. Lol
I have never once heard anyone say 'bye felicia' and I've lived in Los Angeles for over 60 years
I almost feel like people my age and younger use it mainly around people they know.
Found it interesting and fun to watch I sometimes say John Hancock,Plead the fifth. shooting the breeze I’ve heard it before, but don’t think I’ve ever used it. ❤
Well you’re also smarter than most of us Americans 😂😂 I figured some of these were used enough on tv and movies that other people have at least heard them.
@@ToniaElkins God bless American TV for my education almost brings a tear to my eye🥲 lol
@@firebrand2619 😂
I watch Lawrence too, I wish you got more views on your non music vids, I really enjoy them👍👍💕
Aww thank you so much! I really appreciate that. 💖 Maybe one day lol.
Many Australians use "Step up to the plate" meaning taking responsibility or taking control.
It's clearly a baseball term but that's a very minor sport in Australia compared to cricket.
Oh that’s interesting! Love that.
We use 'Shoot the breeze' and 'John Hancock' in Oz too the meanings are the same here too, only thing is shooting the breeze usually means 'talkin' shit'. To 'Table' a document is also used in our Parliament, but normal people don't use it. Probably the most well known American phrases here has to be ' Plead the fifth' and the old staple "we'll head them off at the pass!' lol
Off to work now 😭
I had no idea anyone other than Americans used plead the fifth lol
@@ToniaElkins Yeah if people see it on TV, then they think it must be real for them too lmao.
