Nicely done on this video brother. I seen you had subbed to our channel, thank you for that. I came over to check out your channel, and I see we have a lot in common. Hunting and fishing, count me in. Nicely done on this video. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. I have been using a platform for about 7-8 years now and I always enjoy seeing what else is out there. I do agree on the wax, the squeak with become a problem, and for me, the squeak became an apparent problem at the worng time. (not this stand, one of the original ones they made) Ha, I like the cowboy boots brother. FOR ANYONE ELSE WATCHING, around 8. minutes when he does the toe hook, that is an import step for these stand, to get them really really tight like he shows you. I could hear it, and keep us posted on how it works while hunting for you this season. I too am going to start using some Amstel this year, not because of the weight savings, but the quietness to and from the stand locations. I like you, have been resistant to the idea because of the same reason you mentioned, but I do have a couple of options this year as well as I purchased some material to make some additional ones myself to see how well I like it on sticks and or steps. I love making my own gear. hahaha, Im a dork. On my step I have this similar similar rope system is experiencing the same thing you show us, it is either becoming loose and or the main line stretching some, I can't honestly tell which it is, but the option to cam it over with the toe hook wont work on the single step, I am still testing it for my own personal reasons. Thank again, you did a great job on this video. Thanks for subbing us and know it is truly appreciated. Have a blessed week brother and good luck this season. Dale
