Public Protector's report on Bester's great prison escape

The Public Protector has released a report on Thabo Bester's
escape from Mangaung correctional facility. The report states that
there was "undue delay" from the Correctional Services Department in
the investigation of the escape. Sapu's Lesiba Thobakgale says the
department should take full control of all private prisons in the
country to avoid such incidents from happening in the future.

The public protector's office was once so powerful. I really don't understand what happened to this office, it's disheartening to watch. The now public protector is also educated and somewhat ticks some of the boxes but it looks like she is struggling to make her own mark in that office. I honestly hope she is okay.
