Some series and film use something like a particular suit on either an actor or a person of the staff and when editing the video that suit help the editor to create an actual character over it and animate it depending on the person's movements. So maybe this is the same thing or something similar. Maybe there's actually a member but they don't want to be seen so they edit the virtual character in the video. So it could be that the members are actually talking to a real person,we just can't see it because it's edited.

What does it feel like for the REAL idols who have trained so hard to debut in a group and have a non-existent AI character as a main member? It must suck for them. I want to see real people not fake ones. I could never get into any group with full time AI characters, and my understanding is that they are planning to introduce even more AI members to the group. 😳
I can understand where you're coming from, and I guess that's what it looks like from the outside but, the members actually talk a lot about how they love their concept and Saejins role in the group. On the outside yeah the public may give some more attention to Saejin, but that's a big reason as to why he's apart of the group in the first place, because it's different, because it's new. In reality the members get a lot more love and appreciation from fans, and we more so praise the creators, voice actor, etc. of Saejin than his ai self. Plus since the group was training, they knew what they were getting into so if they really hated it I think they would have expressed it at some point and we'd be able to tell even now. But the members genuinely seem excited for what they'll be able to do with him and actually do like Saejin. And behind the scenes they do work and practice with an actual person, Saejin is just like his avatar if that makes sense. He only is active in music videos or sometimes other video content. It's not like he's making Twitter posts like normal idols and then getting tons more likes than the rest of the members, plus us fans are always expressing our love for the members so it's not like they're left out or there's a gap between them and Saejin. Just as much as the boys have been training, there are other people working just as hard to create Saejin, so it's also not like the boys are working hard meawhile it's like they just click a button and there's Saejin able to do everything within seconds. And hey, if the concept is not your cup of tea, no worries, you dont have to pay attention to them. You're entitled to your own opinion but it's also good to know more than just what you see on the surface. It's alright if you don't stan them but just don't put a false narrative on what you think the members are feeling. (I genuinely don't mean that in a rude or snarky way I just mean, not everything is how it looks on the surface)
