Calvin would have gotten so much farther if he:
1) Was more familiar with type matchups
2) Didn't have to catch up after that crash
3) Knew how to run

@@Thomaswake I don't think it would be a good idea. Aaron is even new to it and he is still just an oke pokemon player. You need to be somewhat good to do a nuzlocke and espacially Cavlin would wipe all the time

Calvin having the least experience makes him the most fun to watch, though he doesn't have strong Pokemon like Eric and Aaron he has more interesting Pokemon
Aaron you wouldn't restart though? I thought Nuzlock rules were that it doesn't start until you have pokeballs.
They wouldn’t have had to restart if they lost the first rival battle no, but they knew they were going to die a bunch of times after getting pokeballs any way and didn’t want to have to restart
Correct me if I am wrong but Eric had pokeballs when he fought the Larvitar, because Professor Oak gave him five for free.

Dude on the lower-right passes up a Steelix because he didn't know his backpack had different pouches so he didn't know he had Pokéballs. Granted, another Steel-type would be kinda redundant, but still.

You download a pokemon randomizer. Load the rom you want into it and adjust the setting how you want. When done it exports a new rom.

I think Aaron does have something screwy with his pokeballs never failing, I mean he caught arguable all the hardest to catch mons in the entire game series with pokeballs and one try only. If the others learn about it the reactions will be super funny hopefully they don't catch on too soon.

I just wanna know why Pinsir and Heracross never got evolutions after Scyther got one. I’ve always found those 3 to be nearly completely useless but Scizor is amazing. I remember getting a shiny Scizor from a Wonder Trade in X or Y and it turned into one of my favorite Pokémon. Always try to get one now. I think I’ve ended up with 3 or 4 shiny Scizor at this point since I try getting em at low levels to play through the games with. Usually trade em off when I’m done with that playthrough but I think I still have that original one I got in a box somewhere.
Uh pinsir is the only bad mon outta those three lol
@@crushedscouter9522 Bugs, as a general rule, are useless. They have a bunch of common weaknesses and even more types are resistant to bug attacks. Stat wise, bugs are the worst of the worst. These 3 did fair better than every other bug at the time in terms of stats, and bug types have been getting stronger, but their common weaknesses still hold them back. Heracross has the best type combo, but it’s still weak to fire, psychic, fairy, and has a double weakness to flying, all very common attacks. Pinsir has the fewest weaknesses with fire, flying, and rock, but again they are very common attacks. Scyther goes from 5 weaknesses with a double rock weakness, to a Scizor that has nothing but a double weakness to fire, resistant to 8 types, and immune to poison.
