Hi Beth. I used to have a bare mineral cosmetic spa. I love bare minerals. The correct way to apply the foundation powder is to tap a little into the lid, place your brush in the powder and swirl to pick up the product. Then tap the side of the brush on the rim of the lid to remove excess powder. The “buff” in circular motion, the powder onto your skin.
This is such a wonderful “blurring” foundation with light to medium coverage. You choose by applying as much as you like.

As a mature woman, I have been told countless times not to use powder because it looks dry and settles into the wrinkles. Does Bare Mineral look dry on mature skin? Just trying to figure this out. 😄
@@honestreviewsonly1915 not at all. Another fabulous powder foundation and in my opinion even better than BM is Laura Geller baked foundation. It is amazing. I’m 65 and I love this stuff.

You're adorable, Beth! You're a true inspiration! Alan is a real trooper, too. The insta-tox worked well for you both. With all the self-care that you do, I'm not seeing all these "bad" places on your skin. You look marvelous is all I can say! It's wonderful that you recovered from your stroke. You would never know you had one. I agree about going forward with continued self-care on an ongoing basis, not just once and awhile. Oh, I used the bare minerals some time back and liked them. It just seemed as though I had to use quite a bit for coverage. There is a liquid form out now with bare minerals. If you are able, please do a video on that foundaiton. I'd love to see the colors you use and how it works for you. Thank you for all you do. You're a special lady! Take care...

The Peter Thomas Roth is hard to work with because of the white film it leaves behind. It says not to use makeup with it but of course I want to wear makeup.

I use it. It DOES work. Keep a little hand fan to aid in drying it. I use it after moisturizer and I put concealer on top. Not sure how you're supposed to use it but it works for me. If you use too much, it can leave a white powdery residue. Stunning outfit. Love the positivity here. xxx

You look so gorgeous all the time!😍 I definitely saw a difference on both you & your husband with the Insta-tox. I will be 60 next month & have almost ordered this several times, but usually chicken out for fear that it would not work or leave a white film behind. After seeing your presentation I think I’m convinced to finally give it a try. I am very fair so I always worry about a white cast making me look even paler or showing through my foundation because it’s so light & can’t conceal the white cast it may give off. I started with Bare Minerals, back when Leslie Blodggett started the company and I still use even tho she sold the business to Shiseido (SP?) Fortunately when she was selling she business I stocked up with tons of the product! And I too am a carnivore or maybe ketovore! Glad you are doing so well have your stroke! I have always been a meat person and eating fruits and vegetables had always been a struggle. Bread is just dough and that is certainly not appealing for me. What a good sport Allen is! He really is a handsome man! Before and after!! If you read this can I ask what your current favorite teeth whitener is. I spent a small fortune on profwhitening procedure, which I kind of regret spending that much, but I got the trays made and then used the gel they provided me. It did help tho not as much as I'd like. They need it again and I'd love to use something less expensive with my trays. Do you have any tips. I remember you used Smile Brilliant (?) at one time. Don't know if that's still your go to product. Thanks so much, I'm so glad to see how you've bounced back. I'm wearing my compression socks "as we speak" as my veins have been giving me fits and both my parents had strokes years ago and I don't want to follow in their footsteps in that regard. I have used Bare Minerals Original Powder foundation since 1997- I've tried others, and do use some liquid foundations as well as tinted moisturizers from time to time but always go back to Bare Minerals.
The InstaTox looks great on you... just wondering how it is negotiated with sunscreen-
Oh- in regards to the Bare Minerals/ the technique for flawless application is shake, swirl, tap, and buff. ( shake it into the lid, then swirl the brush in the cap, tap off the excess, and buff into the skin)

I think you're absolutely beautiful as you are Bev and I honestly don't think you need an instant lift firming cream. A really good skin care regime is something I think every woman (and man) should do no matter how old they are. The younger you are when you begin the better off you'll be as you get older. But if you don't mind my giving you my honest opinion I have to say that I really didn't see a big difference at all when you used this product. I saw a few areas that were minorly improved but not so much that it impressed me enough to make me want to purchase it and add it to my daily skin care regime. Like I said, I think you are a beautiful woman in both looks and personality and I love your videos.

I really can see a difference, especially under your eyes. As for Bare Minerals, I have used it for years. You can just shake a bit into the lid, swirll the brush in it and tap off any excess, then buff it into your skin.

Hi Beth, I can see a difference! I have tried a product I don’t know the name of it. Last year walking in the mall where I live , a lady selling a product stoped me, and asked me to try it out. I didn’t want to, but thought, what! The heck! I could see a difference. I felt I couldn’t move my face! It felt weird! I was feeling pressure to buy it. I said no I couldn’t afford it! It was only 200.00!! As soon as I got home I washed it off. I wouldn’t have paid 10.00 for it! Not saying I wouldn’t try this prouduct your using seeing the results😃you look great! Thanks so much! Today is at 41st anniversary. Yes, you can use make up over it. I just happened to use the powder foundation, but they say you can use any foundation. Just apply it very gently with your fingers.

What I would like to know is how long it lasts. There was a product that I saw about 4 years ago, in fact I tried it for free in a mall, but it only lasted 2 or 3 hours. I feel like it makes me look about five years younger. I have applied it every morning since the video. I have been applying my sunblock and skin care and then waiting about 10 minutes before I apply the product. I feel like it’s working however, Lola says she always applies the product first, then waits about 10 minutes to apply her sunblock and skin care. I am still playing with that piece of it.
I bought the product, serious, skin, care, tightener, and I tried and tried for about a month, and I personally did not feel It works well at all. I have 2 tubes sitting in a drawer. I just bought NuFace because it was on sale hoping for better results.

You should try Jane Iredale mineral foundation - I love love love it so much more than bare Minerals - but the bare minerals brushes are the bomb and last forever
I wish I had seen your review of Peter Thomas Roths product before wasting my $$. I get better results with using egg white to tighten my skin and close pores and then rinsing it off before applying the rest of my skincare and makeup. Your results are great, but for every day how would you layer skincare like Vtamin C and serums, along with moisturizer and sun protection?

Ladies don't waste your money I bought this last year and I was highly disappointed it did in fact leave a white powdery film behind and I used very little and I waited for it to dry. Also you cannot use anything on your skin before or after no moisturizers no oils NOTHING! MY FACE FELT TIGHT AND DRY ALL DAY....I threw it out...more empty promisis. We women are really are stupid to buy into all this!!!

Looks amazing, but how do you do your AM skin care routine if you are suppposed to use it on clean dry skin? Or do you use the skin care after? Have you tried it with your AM skin care or do you not do skin care in the AM. Did it last al day?
It lasted all day. I apply skincare then let it dry for 10 before application.

I bought some a while back. My problem is that I HAVE to wear sunscreen since sun is intense here. I did finally get oil-free sunscreen but I don’t know if it should go on before or after. However, it doesn’t seem to matter - I lost the tightening effect. It might be something I’m doing wrong. After watching this, I want to get the bare mineral makeup and try it again!
Lola , who gave me the product, says she applies her sunscreen afterward and stay, and then she does OK with it. She also applies her moisturizer at that same time. I have never used the bare minerals before but I really liked it. It works great with that product.

I apply my morning skin care then SPF then wait for it. to dry then go in and use the Insta tox.

I have the Peter Thomas Roth. You really do have to work with it like Beth Said. City Beauty does not work. I ordered never received. Never refunded me either. About 4 years ago. ❤❤❤xxx
I tried it before and it was white. This was almost 10 years ago and the best for me was "Sudden Change" which has been around for many decades. It didn't give a white cast. I can't remember if I was able to put makeup on over it and I can't use mineral foundation as it's too drying for me.
That’s interesting as I do remember trying sudden change years ago. I liked it better than the peter Thomas Roth but I really think I like this product. Much better. I guess everything works a bit differently each person.

I'm interested in knowing about the the length of wear. It may work right away, but how long does it last with foundation on? I follow a several other over 50 women and when present reviews, they show a 5 hour, 8 hour and 10 hour check-in on the wear of different products (usually makeup or items like this one). Is that something you could incorporate with product reviews? Some products given an instant "wow" right away, but after few hours on the product really isn't that great and it starts to crack, wear, etc.
