On the fly and live, what a marvelous surprise to find you checking in from the Downtown Desert. Dig the rich earthy colors and majesty of the mountain as your constant companion, along with those iconic California Bungalos! This was SO fun, sure girlfriend lunch was as well!

@@PalmSpringsCindy I mentioned that when I moved there in 2000 and they haven't been trimmed at all. Surprising we didn't see any of the homeless sleeping on the benches like they usually are.
Love the cottage style of some of those shops and love the back drop of the mountain...I've always wanted to go to the desert..Count me as strange I guess but there's something about deserts that say something to me...
We are still waiting for the tempture to go down here in Malta!! We have the longest summer in Europe & everyone is ready to call it a day come the end of August!! But we still have Untill mid October for things to cool down & so we are all looking forward to that & spring like weather Untill the end of December 😊 then we have our 2 months of 'winter' than back to spring again untill June..than it's air con time again!! - it all looks very nice Cindy...how lucky are we to live in such a shiny uplifting climate!! Jahnvieve Buseman Yes, actually Thursday evenings they have a street fair and block off the Main Street where I shot the picture. Part of the street fair is a farmers market and fresh flowers!!

Plus, every other mile in Palm Springs is owned by Indian tribes, so if you live on Indian land (as I do) we must pay lease land fees every month to the tribe. In addition to property taxes. But we wouldn’t do it unless it was worth it
Dirty Diana Hello DD, yes. I believe it was Eisenhower who divided the land into every other square miles would belong to tribes. Cahilla and Agua Caliente. I live in Indian land. My Indian lease is for 100 years. Most of the desired land is Indian owned....

Love that area but the parking is aweful!
Saw all the parked cars but very few customers. Pretty, but California taxes are a killer.
