I am hoping they will base some of the story of the upcoming movie off the Knighfall storyline of my childhood. Catwoman played a loose role in it: I mainly remember that when she first heard that Bane had "broken" Batman she refused to believe it, and then acted concerned when she saw pics of the Jean-Paul Valley Batman. And when they met for the first time, she instantly realized it wasn't the same person under the mask.

@dkupke well.....when you put it that way, I have to agree with you about both Batman and Catwoman being a bit unbalanced....especially when both Catwoman and Batman don't even have superpowers like Superman and Spider-Man. I definitely agree with the points about the chemistry and the dynamic couple.

She was mostly reformed in the 2000 Brubaker Catwoman comic years. She was more of a hero than anti-hero then. In the new comic book, Catwoman is a bit of an anti-hero.

But she is not demented like the Joker or Two Face, and when she puts her mind to it she is perfectly capable of doing good. In the later comics, Catwoman did come from dark roots including her mother committing suicide and her father drank herself to death, and her being in some type of orphanage as well as her prostitute past. Before that, she was an abused wife.

The only thing that I disliked about the BTAS version of Selina Kyle/Catwoman is that she didn't seem to have any romantic attraction to Bruce Wayne at all. She was like just some nice guy friend to her. She was in love with Batman without having a clue that he was Bruce Wayne. In the comics, Selina would notice similarities between Batman and Bruce Wayne.
