Hey bro LOVE IT!! I just recieved mine 2 weeks ago. She's in the basement on a kayak car I built, in February. When I ordered mine. And I'm glad all the research I did. Every company gives you, just the boat, with a hidden freight charge. Came triple wrapped, double walled box. Not a scratch. While waiting I probably ordered, a little over $1100 dollars in accessories. And add-on's. The blue lagoon is beautiful. I also have the HOODOO 46 lb thrust. Cant believe it weighs only 25 lbs. I purchased 2 Cabela's 12v batteries for my FF, and usb charger panel for my phone, and one go pro. Enjoy, and I got the drop down rudder, which I wasn't expecting. I'm seeing allot of reviews now. Everyone must be receiving them now. When I researched, there was nothing. They're gonna be an amazing kayak company. Be safe. 🤟🎣🙏
where did you get the top rudder I just got my hoodoo tempest 120p and want to get the top rudder and maybe set up some of those lights thanks in advance tight lines

@@mixed_up_legendhey bro. Lol..I also just recieved my tempest 120 Hybrid. My boat came with the drop down, foot controlled rudder from hoodoo. I ordered the Hybrid so I could purchase the fitted trolling motor instead of the PDL drive. When my boat is complete. I'll order the PDL drive, and store it in my hull or leash it in my tankwell. I'm still adding accessories that i purchased while waiting for my kayak. Had it out a few times, with just light gear. Trolling motor was 5.1 mph. I fish a 1600 acre freshwater lake. I'm 5ft 7" and weigh 152 lbs She moves nice and smooth..🤟🙏🎣
Did you set up the yak power yourself or did you have hoodoo do it for you? I just ordered this yak with the yak power system installed so im curious if your setup is how mine will be
Most of the wiring came with the yak power battery setup... the volt meter has rings that screw to the back of the panel I used fish tape to get my wire through , then marine sealed it

Never , steering is great i can even turn the trolling motor to steer if i need to for tighter turns , but i usually steer with the rudder in the rear..

I'm in the middle of setting her up, with all the accessories, addons, electrical. I'm doing all this, working, and in the middle of trading in my jeep, for my truck. I also have the HOODOO 46LB THRUST TROLLING MOTOR. Just wondering if they have an attached kill switch. I just opened it quick, because of the trust I have in Hoidoo accessories I've purchased. This is my 1st kayak, and wanted this, because what I've got invested, i don't see myself upgrading. No need to. Be safe bro..👍🙏🎣🤟

I couldn't believe the shipping. Not a scratch, Nike. Mark nothing!! Awsome vessel. And they're already raising prices. I'm so glad I picked this kayak, which allowed me to purchase my accessories. Trolling Motor, and all my other toys. I had 3 boat's I settled on the jonny bass. The Pelican Catch pwr 100. But they came with nothing. Next year I'm gonna add the Suzuki 2.5 on a side mount transom, by railblaza or island hopper outboards. And design a 5ft outrigger. But for now, she's beautiful and love the setup I have. What do you like more the tempest or impulse?
I like my impulse more for sure. But the tempest is good to throw in for a quick trip.

There are lots of different options that mount directly to your rail mount .
