- Whats cracking guys! I wanted to start putting in much more effort into the Del Sol like I used to and I figured the best way was to actually talk about its journey now.

haha yeah dude we've been through a lot. There have been times I've thought about finding a new shell after and putting my stuff over but i could never come to do it. I just can't give up on her, things might always be a little twaked in spots but w/e thats just stuff i gotta work around.

I've owned my 93 SI for like 16 years now, but it's been non-op for the last 6. I really want to restore it but man parts are going to be hard to come by. I can't even find a good d16z6 swap around me for less than like 750$ and that's just the drivetrain, let alone all the little clips and trim pieces that will need to be replaced as part of the full body respray.

Interesting. I've been with the Sol scene since TeamSol had an official sub forum on the HondaVision forum. Haven't heard of this OldSols one. Know of the TeamSolCal forum, but when I was last active it was still mostly Cali; and the Del Sol Group on facebook.

Same here chris im a red car guy myself! Loving the Oldskool diamond tuck classic! Eibach is gonna be dope thinking bout rolling down there but got sum minor maintenance to do but no motivation timing belt and water pump and now i think my fuel pump is GOING and got to drop gas tank to change that😧 but maybe a road trip is kinda motivating me to get my ass moving!!👍👊✌the way you feel about your del sol is how i fell about my DA! Just love it mann! Both cars are super slept on imo!!...

I miss my del sol on the few nice days we have in WI. Can't even imagine it with my current set up. But one door opened another. Coupe>del sol>sedan>hatch unless it's full blow drag. Awesome background/history 🤙🏻👌🏻

Dude! This was the video I’ve been wanting! Love the story of your Sol. FYI BART still sucks haha. Going to be moving to AZ and at first didnt know what to do with my Sol. You remotivated me to keep mine so I’m planning to keep mine up here for now when I visit up here. I could probably swap anything i want in it if i move it to AZ but the factor of having a clean CARB legal GSR Sol feels super good after all the hard work and money. I definitely credit TeamSolCal with tons of knowledge. Always a Bay Area Native and will always have a soft spot for Sols. Looking forward to more Sol vids!
Hell yeah man! Del Sol's are legit dude and nobody really wants to rep them. I honestly love the car and i see the similarites between the S2k and NSX in litle bits for it's age. It's one of the oldest 2 seater cockpits like the CRX since they're in the same family. Shoot me some pics on IG man would love to see your Sol. Bay area man! where you from?

I bought my first del sol a few years again the one thats in my pic. Sadly i traded it and missed it alot. In between ive had a miata, a tuned MK4 Jetta, a G35 coupe. Now i just bought another del sol as a project car to build and boost now that i have my daily the Taurus SHO

Any and all seals that look decent, window trims and the clips if you can save them, door handles and save the clips, rear winglits and save the seals. If b series the shift linkage can be used for b swap ef's worth money

Withe one will work, the A2 is better as it came in the 97 vtec only.
