Creta is a wonderful car, but only in 1.6 diesel. 1.4 feels underpowered for the car, though it’s fantastic for i20. Great review though, and car doesn’t look like it has covered 50k kms. Speaks volumes about Hyundai’a quality.

Ravi ji I am a fan of your channel and entire team of gaadify.com Still this time i would like to differ with you on your view over 1.4 creta Some times all the critics start comparing performance of 1.6 crdi engine of Hyundai with 1.4, no doubt there has to be difference BUT never forget this 1.4 crdi engine of Hyundai has much better torque figure (220nm) when compared to other small suv in the same price bracket as Brezza and ecosport both remain in category of hardly 200 nm torque But you never name them under power 1248 cc engine in all the cars be it Ciaz Brezza or S-cross This 1.4 engine of creta has enough power and decent torque to deliver and out perform these so called good vehicles
Sarvesh Rajput for your kind information breeza diesel and ecosport diesel which produces 200 nm torque will outperform crera 1.4 diesel. Agreed 1.4 crdi has 20 nm torque extra but its 300 kg heavy than the breeza and 150 kg than ecosport thats why it has poor power compared to breeza and ecosport
this is again a myth and biased out view, let me tell you i am not the owner of creta 1.4 but I have driven it a lot I use Duster 110 ps as my own vegicle but I don't have extra biased view for maruti suzuki , that even if they make an ugly looking car , I should start praising them, first of all shame for them for not having any engine other than ddis 1248 cc , Even for ignis , swift , desire. Brezza Ciaz or Even S cross, all the way just one engine , looks good for swift desire but absolutely ridiculous for other cars of different category Fit and finish is also not upto the highest standards set by global manufacturers
Sarvesh Rajput here we were talking about the performance of 1.4 creta comparatively their segments we are not talking about that maruti is using 1 engine for every car. Whatever maruti is using maruti's performance of diesel engine is neck and neck with Hyundai. For eg Baleno and Dzire diesel has 1248 cc that produce 75 bhp and 190 nm torque elite i20 has 1.4 crdi which produce 90 bhp and 220 nm torque but elite i20 is 250 kg heavier than the baleno and dzire so performance of both the cars are equal. And 1248 cc diesel which maruti uses in all cars but it has decent performance i have driven breeza and dzire diesel for 1000 kms it touches the 3 digit speed easily. Maruti had 1.6 diesel engine in s cross which was towards different league it teaches the 3 segment above cars in performance creta 1.6 was no where to s cross 1.6. And the main thing suzuki's cars Driving dynamics is way ahead than hyundai's cars. Instead of making better fit and finish hyundai had given better suspension for high speed stability because enthusiastic driver wants best handling car rather than high quality plastics and fit and finish

I have 2017 Creta E+ Diesel, have serious issues with Suspensions, too much thudding and unstable steering. Sways too much in just 17K kms of use and seems to have serious wheel alignment problems. Even Reverse gear stucks. Braking is also too bad. Can you let me know your location to test drive my vehicle... I can bring it there

I think Hyundai is best. Because most of the owners of Swift Diesel 1.3 complained of smoke problem after 2 Lakh km. But in Hyundai, this problem is not there. And also Hyundai Diesel engines are more refined than Maruti Diesel Engines.
