I am in a College Wind ensemble and we recently got handed the music to the Classical Toccata and Fugue, to say that I freaked is an understatement I love this piece and what TSO did with it!
+Sam Michaelis no need to sell your soul. they tour every year and they believe in being reasonably priced. this year i paid something like $50 for floor seats.
The best live show I have every seen! And I been a concert junkie my life. Seen every eighties band there is, most 90s crap. Took my my 66 year old Mom to TSO show, WOW! Lights, sound, stage professionals all the way. The best show. RIP Mom miss you always!
WOW!!! I am one of those old guys, here to tell you this is awesome. This is like the difference between "Jesus loves me this I know" and "Jesus bought my heart and soul". A natural progression if you're still breathing!
@@TheMattHendrix no, it is associated with its composer more. EDIT: try gogling "toccata and fugue in d minor" and tell me how many search results feature Bach and how many feature Dracula. ;)
this has been bugging me forever check out zambelis firewprks at the pgi convention this song with fireworks totally kicks ass kinda hard to play on g tar but i figured it out this song captured my attention because of the guitars and the evil sounding music live in person with the fireworks a total mind blower
Camille Saint-Saën’s ‘Danse Macabre too or Dance of the Knights Prokofiev Metal Version ruclips.net/video/GsM-i8p49WI/видео.html&ab_channel=MarcinJakubek
Epic. But the helicopter kind of ruined the images I had in my head. ._. It's night and the villan is being all crazy, rambleing, and theatrical... then there goes a helicopter. He is now yelling at it for ruining his monolouge. Overall, this is great, love it! ^_^
Sheet music is a graphic form of representation? As for the guitar hero idea? There is already several pieces of software that attempt this but currently they're no where near as successful as sheet music. We shall wait and see I suppose.
@XxBakerxX72 Or they dislikes to share their opinion of dislike without spoiling the good mood among the comments? Just leave it be, and comment on the music instead.
@nsccpo2 Music doesn't need to have words to say anything, unless if it's pop/rap. Any kind of meaning in that is lyrical. ... Kind of like abstract art, which needs commentary to be comprehended... because standing alone, it's meaningless. And I find this deeper than a lot of the current mainstream BS out there.
@Furrylove40 Probably just reminds you of Hans Zimmer, he does at lot of similar orchestrated stuff as a 21st century composer; but I don't think this was used in any of the PotC movies.
What are you on about it sounds nothing like the original? Are you deaf? TSO are totally ace, bringing classics to a young audience. Less of the stuffy, pompous, so called upper class bullshit. Bach would be playing a Yamaha and Ludwig would be on a Gibson if they were alive today! This is totally awesome!
@summitgoalie09 It was never there because people fail to realize the epic awesomeness of TSO. Because "That musics fake. It doesn't talk about anything" says my ignorant a-hole of a friend. I honestly wish it was on there cause I can play a lot of their stuff on my guitar
@kitsayren Sorry for disappointing you, but I am no proffesional anyway, just a hobby guitarist that likes to learn and play all kinds of music THE EASY WAY, and even you have no right to tell me what I can/will play or not, or others for that matter. Everyone can learn and play what ever they want.. Thanks for the link anyway, I will check it out. :) and just for the pun, I am learning In taberna quando sumus just by tabs and getting right good at it. ;)
They did an album entitled "Beethoven's last night," those were pictures from that. i assume these were just supposed to be random pictures of TSO and not specifically related to the song being played.

UGGGH. Can I just sell my soul to go to their concerts? Please? This is the best fucking version of this song!
+Sam Michaelis no need to sell your soul. they tour every year and they believe in being reasonably priced. this year i paid something like $50 for floor seats.
My dad joked about selling me to them too.
excellent rendering of Bach, and mind-blowing post-Bach stuff after the middle.
1:37 I Love this riff.
Best part. Hardcore
Epic everything is epic... 'nuff said. I've seen TSO twice in concert and it's always like I'm seeing it for the first time
@ 1:36 I always hear Children of the Grave
Got an ad for a halo movie thing.
Only ad I have ever not skipped.

Anyone else think of an epic boss battle while listening to this?
Whoa! Let me repeat: WHOA!!!
Mother of METAL....
I love these guys and this version of this song is pure epic.
There are other version of song?
WOW!!! I am one of those old guys, here to tell you this is awesome. This is like the difference between "Jesus loves me this I know" and "Jesus bought my heart and soul". A natural progression if you're still breathing!
Bach music must have been the metal version of classical music.
I like the way they slip 'children of the grave' in here :)
ah the good old days of 240p
...and God said "Let there be music", and there was music and He saw that it was good.
This is WOW. I'd like to see any guitarist tackle Paganini's Perpetual Motion piece.
*Finishes air guitaring and catches breath.* I... love.. this.. song!..
This is going on my annual Halloweenish playlist... I mean it totally works... and also The Mountain
Dracula's theme metalized!
So its Dracula's theme now!? When has he bought the rights to Bach's Toccata?
it's just used a lot these days in videos that involve vampires! Admit it! This song sounds like the soundtrack to a tour of Dracula's castle!
@@Schmuni the song is more associated with Dracula

Tony Iommi inspiration, for sure!
Toccata and Fugue (the original one, by Bach) is on Rock Band 3 now as of like April 8 or so. For Bass and Keys only, though.
Love it!!! Cant wait till they come back to my City December 18th!!! SOOO EXCITED!!!
i jst talked to my mom about getting night castle and now tomarrow shes gonna run me to either fye or best buy to try and get it
If bits of this sound like you have heard it before, it is because you have.
damn.....awesomeness!!!! love at first listen..
Por eso tienes ese traje negro! :V
At around 1:37 it starts sounding very Castlevania-ey.
Why a pic of Beethoven? He had nothing to do with Toccata and Fugue. That was a Bach piece.
MusicLover321952 It's just a piece of album art from TSO. In that album they did feature Beethoven.
+MusicLover321952 thats a different album Behtovens last night
This is from the TSO album Night Castle.
MusicLover321952
I notice that too..
.funny they show Beethoven on a Bach song. Lol
PTD “I’ll be Bach!”

Rollerball--metalized!
Men in Black 3 brought me here.
Same
Awesome, would have love to have heard some organ in there
i got goosebumps this is incredible!!!!!!!!
I bet Bach would be proud!
JONATHAN! JONATHAN! JONATHAN! JONATHAN!
I was the first one to figure out how to play this...atleast I think so. I figured it out right when the cd came out :D
Oh, this is perfect for an "Angry Playlist"!
I LOVE THEM !!
best song ever in 240p quality ^^
One person can play it on organ and it sounds great. Check out the graphic representation of Bachs Tocata in D minor on you tube.
Bach, Mozart, Bethoveen truly were the first metalheads
Vivaldi has some sickkk thrash metal sounding pieces.

you probably would need at least 5 other simultaneous players in order to actually play this song on any video game like that
Epic.

It almost makes it more listenable.
One of TSO's albums was Beethoven's last night probably a reference to that
I like this better than Bach Version when I first I found this very Spooky and clearly terrifying
Epic Guitar is Epic
the first image is from the TSO album, Beethoven's Last Night, but I think I know what you mean :)
open two windows of this song and play at the same time maybe half a second difference... see if you like it
@summitgoalie09 It's because they don't put impossible levels in most video games.
@MusicCndctr That's because this band have and album dedicated to Beethoven

Yep
This would be an amazing song on guitar hero!!!!
@MusicCndctr It's one of their CD covers
the Iron Maiden-esque bit at like 1:40 made it for me
i love it

I could see them having dueling Steinburgers too haha
why is there a picture of Beethoven ? Bach is the one who composed Toccata and Fugue in D Minor
did they do this is concert .-.
now that you mention it...
It would be cool if after the helicopter left, all the instruments hit the same note at the same time on the highest volume possible...
Does someone know any tabs for this?? Any tab, but Guitar Pro preferable.
how this was never on rock band or guitar hero is a mystery
Some say Bach wasn't the composer and we don't know who did it :c
Sounds like a boss fight with Dracula
This is even better than the E.L.P version...(sorry)
@MusicCndctr because some didn't know what difference makes either Beethoven, Bach both are Germans. That's all they know. LOL
it you wanted to say somebody's name in that regard, it should be bach, wagner and holst.
Tocatta van Bach rules!
damn right
agree with the images thing... this is bach's not beethoven jijij

this was from bach?
that was an acception, he was dying, but was finished by another person
@summitgoalie09 I thought the same thing about this song and some of their other songs.
yes from bach
Check out Phantoms by the same people. I wonder the same thing.
