Right when you said that's a piece of wire I was literally thinking, I wonder what would happen if wire ever went through the machine. I'm sure that would have been fun to untangle lol.
Buy yourself a small hammer to check them tires. I've checked thousands in my career and in the earlier years I would kick them like you. The hammer will really tell if they're less than 50%, trust me I'm correct on this one. Enjoy the videos brother, god bless.
Good morning that was a nice ride in the big truck. You can really drive that thing. Question, any reason you just did not burn it up? I guess you have someone that’s wants the mulch. Thanks enjoyed watching u operate the machinery. MerryChristmas🎄 too.
I worked for a company for years that had a similar operation Except we have a CBI on tracks which I thought was a pain in the butt to move it.I would’ve rather had fifth wheel . We love the Komatsu excavator’s . Good thing you caught that wire ! Great video👍
@@DLHFarms Yeah they’re huge money and the guys would still haul the stump piles to the machine anyways Before shearing them with the splitter. That way there’s One centralized Pile of mess. I guess if you were OK with a couple different piles you can drive the thing around site. The sites just aren’t that big where I live
Dennis, Thank you for your hard work. Now that I have watch the whole video, I'm Tard....That biscuit looks so good I think i' going to get one Thank You again.....
fun day! like loading crusher some days its "i have been doing this all day and its only 9 am" and other days you get mesmerized by the crushing and oh my its the end of the day already.
I was at that store Saturday afternoon for a wedding. Stopped in there to get some gas and stocked up on my 💯 grand bars. The wedding was up on top of the hill that place known as the little white church. Sadly I didn't get the biscuit.
I like your way of checking tires! When I did truckin I used to do the same thing LOL. That machine is a monster! What is the horse power that engine puts out?
Hello from Western NC. I have a custom made hydraulic thumb that looks a heck of a lot like that one. It was a small width thumb that I added wings to it with hardened steel to give a wider bite, and my rake looks just like that rake as well. My rake goes with my Geith quick coupler. I had to do a double-take when I saw yours. Small world. Love the Beast. I had a Morbark 1300 tub grinder - sold it - wish I hadn't done that though because they come in real handy. Would rather have a horizontal though for stumps. Tubs don't like stumps. They just roll around and around until they finally get pushed down hard enough for the hammer mill to get a bite, even if you split the stumps first. Plus, tubs kick out debris like a catapult if you let them get low in the tub. I've busted more windshields. Love the videos. Keep them coming.
It belongs to D.L. Harrell Construction LLC which is my dad’s company. My dad likes to sell mulch as a hobby he has a formula for making it turn black and mixing it and he sells it by the dipper on our lot and sells it to local stores and “mulch yards” by the truck load so they can resell it.
Nice video Dennis, i stop at that same store every morning. And most tha time get that same biscuit. Although with coffee. Ha. I’d would have like to have seen more of the trip from my buddies Brian and Matthews’ garage to Riner, thats my stompn grounds and i know tha road. Lol
@@DLHFarms I knew it sounded just like a International Paystar 5000 and a RD800 Mack I hauled coal with actually the motor that was in the Mack came out of a 96 KW. Impressive tire checking! Lol I do the same! Hope you and your family doing well! Firewood sales on fire here in Northern va👍🏼🇱🇷

Haha it normally chops it up in little pieces and the magnet pulls it out. I’ll kinda explain the magnet in the next video.
Good morning Dennis, thanks for taking us along. No coffee this morning I guess.
No I don’t start in coffee until lunch time haha
Darn, you backup better then I can drive straight a head. One thing for sure, you know how to get it done.Great ride a lone!! Thanks.

Will That Chipper Grind Stumps Up?
If they have been split yes. Some of what I was feeding were split up stumps.
