Comp night again on this one, and the target was a smoothhound, unfortunately I didn't find one, but I managed a few fish on a slow session. Conditions looked great, but the big fish didn't want to play, managed to come fourth on the night, and stay 2nd overall now only 2 points behind 1st.

Thanks Michael, It was hard going for sure. It seems like a while since I had a good session. There are fish out there for sure, heard of loads of good hounds, stingers and rays coming out, but I think at the moment its definitely a case of being in the right place at the right time🎣🎣👍👍
well done again for not blanking and always thinking of different methods and baits when things are tough some people think fishing is easy but us anglers know it can be anything but

Another good watch Dylan, very informative as always. Yes I agree, I always think that its about to kick off when the sun starts to fade wherever I am but it rarely happens, I usually have to wait until its proper dark ha! Thanks Paul, I can take some positives from it. It was super slow all round, and I still managed to come 4th on the night. gained a few points on first too. only 2 points behind the lead. Would be really nice to get something decent soon though👍👍🎣🎣

Cheers dude. Yeah I shouldn't complain really, but when you know there are fish out there, it can be frustrating. Reports from around the island are good, well, better than they were. Quite a few hounds coming out and stingers, but it's still a case of right time right place at the moment 👍👍🎣🎣

Hi Dylan! We are coming over to the island as a small group of us on the 5th, 6 and 7th of June. Weather permitting we are going to fish sand down first the left side and then off to Grange farm on the 6th. I should imagine the tides would be okay for Grange farm but if not could you let me know and if you get the time and you fancy your fish. As I said on the six will be at sound down. It lay afternoon into the evening. Great video. Tight lines

Thanks buddy😂😂, thought you might enjoy it. Lovely t shirt. It was a tough old session. I always find I take a ton of bait for the comps. So find it hard to target something specific. Going to simplify things next outing I think. Plenty of hounds showing at the minute here, so hopefully they'll move on up to you soon👍👍🎣🎣🙏
Nice vid again mate,was hard work wasnt it....i got an eel with about 2-1/2 hours to go,and really fished hard,lost my flapper rig with a fish on to a snag too(note to self..tie more flappers)..bites were very slow let alone fish,but we both scored mate,and really love Ross' tactics of phoning you to distract from your bites,dirty move on his part lol.

😂😂yeah buddy, standard hey. Take loads, and don't use it. Could have had rag and squid, and been done with it. Ended up using pretty much all my bait too. Fished so hard, just couldn't get a big one. Think I'll keep it more simple on the next one. Thanks mate 👍👍🎣🎣
