Ferarro's comment at the time of the play "What's he DOING?" was quite appropriate. DeBoer's comment about the play maybe getting a 5-minute major was also correct. Watch the replay over and over until you finally see all of it. If Stone was only interested in getting the puck he would have laid out flat, prone to the ice, and extended his stick. No my friends, he kept his body positioned to deliver a hit to the knee, just like he was a linebacker trying to sack Patrick Mahomes. The league should suspend Stone multiple games.
I’ve watched the clip in slow motion, right after Hintz touched the blade, Stone moved his foot in a way that looked controlled. I’ve watched it over and over, as he turned he didn’t seem to be affected by Hintz touching his left skate. I’m normally not one to speculate but it doesn’t look accidental
btw this is actually should've been a penalty called "clipping" which is when you hit a player in the legs. It comes with a 5 minute major and game misconduct
@@marciimeris503 your boy Stone must be really soft if a little tap like that makes him flop like a fish… Guys get hit in the skates with a puck way harder than that and stay on their feet all the time. Not only did stone manage to get a target put on his back by the stars but also the players from Finland all across the league cause he just took out a player for Finland in the four nations tournament.
If u trip u fall down. Your legs aren't bent at 90 degree angles and your head certainly is not up above your body. Just plain physics. That was a dirty flop. Even Neymar knows better than to flop like that.
Who throws their own head at someone’s knees. None of us can 100% say for certain what happened but I’m guessing he was tripped. Not hard to see how that may have happened.
Yea cause a guy with multiple back surgeries is going to dive head first into someone intentionally 😂 and yes absolutely you’re legs can be bent 90 degrees when you step on a stick that causes you to toe pick when you’re trying to turn with the guy and yes you’re head can be above your body when you fall and the “physics” on it track with having your feet far apart trying to turn then toe picking on the inside edge
@@jepulis6674lol no one actually does this. Especially not a player with 0 history of intentionally injuring players. Not even marchand would do this.
I don't care for either team, so no loyalties at play. From the video it looks like Stone leaned forward to try and poke the puck and ended up hurting Heiskanen. I don't think there was intent to hurt as Stone looks to end up taking knee to the head.
Got tripped up and jumped into his knee. He is jumping into his knee to hurt him. There is no other reason for that idiot to try and jump when he’s falling down.
Is there another angle of this hit? It looks like 24s stick could have hit stones skate making him fall like that. Not saying that's what happened but is there another angle?
In another video I saw there were two other angles, one of them even worse than that one and another one very far out, but in the far out one you can definitely see Hintz’s stick hit Stones skate. Whether or not that did make him fall like that is debatable, but it was pretty clear he got tripped up a little.
Hintz definitely touched Stone's Skate but that was NOT a natural reaction to being tripped. At best it was a boneheaded and dangerous dive at the puck, at worst it was retaliatory and dirty.
@@movestattoo4561 Its a game. Sheet happens. We pay them to win. Stone got checked so hard last year it ruptured his spleen. Did you complain then? I'm thinking... not.

Miro's knee bended so bad that I think Stone needs to go LTIR

Oh yea, sure bud. You're not one to speculate but here you are speculating. Wild
Mark Stone is one of the biggest scumbags in the NHL
With a shiny ring😂
You are HIGH if you honestly think that.
Tell me you’re new to hockey without telling me you’re new to hockey. This is either rage bait or you actually believe that lmao

That deserves a crosscheck from Big Benn since the refs are gonna be candyasses and call that as just a minor.
Not only did stone manage to get a target put on his back by the stars but also the players from Finland all across the league cause he just took out a player for Finland in the four nations tournament.
For getting tripped. So is it a Texas thing? Being this oblivious to what's clearly visible?
They should be going after the guy that tripped Stone into him. Nothing he could do
Stone gets tripped up???? He fell over the blue line and miro broke his ankles
Since Stone is going to LTIR anyway Stars may as well put him there
I hope Stone didn’t hurt his shoulder, may be time for LTIR .
Nhl should have Mentally Disabled Month to honor players like Stone
fuck sake now miro wont be able to play in the 4 nations to represent finland.....absolutely sad
And poor Mark Stone will probably be on the LTIR again for more trade deadline shenanigans
@ hahahahahahahahahaha yep another year another mark stone ltir story
Knowing the NHL, Stone will get player of the week.

Neither NHL or Sportsnets recaps show this play…
Why is that?
We all know why.
Cause they’d get a collect call from Hobbiton, stating to leave the Golden Knights alone.
Hintz tripped Mark Stone, before Stone tripped Heiskanen. You need to show the full video.
Gary made sure to call down and tell the refs to go easy on Vegas.
Stone on kyrpä.
