Wow that game looks so different than FS19! Goes to show how much work Giants puts into each iteration. I am also embarrassed by my video/audio quality back then. Goes to show how little work I've put into each iteration. :)
As long as I learn the subject(what the video is about)I'm satisfied lol. Wish I would've found your channel long ago, would have saved me a lot of time figuring things out lol. You've taught me things about FS 17 that would've taken me a while to figure out on my own and for that, thank you lol Keep up the good work
Probably, I just always found it more trouble than it's worth when trying it. I usually stack them on top of each other and get 10 on there (they still stick on there somehow). Once I stacked three high for 15 but it was scary.
I noticed this, too. I'm assuming the chickens have a slight cost but not enough to warrant a full $1 registering in the game? Not exactly sure if that's even a thing. Either way as long as you harvest your eggs daily you should profit from them.
great tutorial! but for the chickens, it says maintenance cost is 0 but i only own chickens in my game and my finances say the livestock have a cost, "normally around $60." do you know why? thanks
Great video. I just started the Sheep Farm and the reason I came here again to see what kind of trailer you were using since I'm also wanting to put all of the skids of wool on one. How many sheep do you have that requires you to use the big equipment that you are using? Right now I only have 100 sheep. But, since the sheep farm is very manageable I decided to just use the riding mower to collect the grass in the bin since it is so much more maneuverable than the bigger equipment. And for the application I think it is pretty fast as well. However, I didn't like that red forklift at all since it is articulated. I went with the green one with the telescoping boom. Really like that one.
There is really no "quick profit". You have to start small and grow. For example, once you get a lot of cows (I have about 25) and get them to 100% productivity (which means steady supply of silage, straw, and hay) then you make money pretty quick. However, to get to that point you have to raise chickens, sheep, and small plots of land for low margins of profit. The fun part of the game is building wealth, not having it.
Never occurred to me either although I did see the PTO on the front of the tractor and knew that you could attach an implement there. Duh! Thanks Moose!
It's easy to go 2 wide and 4 long, that's what I've been doing. You could probably even go 3 wide (1 in the middle and 2 on the edges, they still stick to it on the edge), and 4 long and then have more on top? I'd imagine it's possible to get like 15 per trailer lol. There's a mod where you can attach a trailer to the back of the blue one aswell, so like 100 per load lol.
@Moose2006LP, On my computer I have to press the shift key while pressing the 7 or 8 keys to change the speed for time . There are so many keys to remember that I had to use a marker to draw little symbols on the keys. The keyboard is old and should have been rejected because some of the key caps were on the wrong characters and had to mark them with the correct characters. So I didn't feel a bit bad drawing my little symbols on the keys.
thanks bro.apreciated.can you tell me how can y sell one or more of my green houses?also how can y sell one or more of my wind converter's....please make a tutorial with this.
i play on console, blue trailer sucks. pallets will not stay on, not only do they not stay on they slide off without even moving the trailer. im good with front loader but the wool will not stay on. i think there is dlc trailers that may work better but im not sure. i found myself either pushing the fallen pallets with tractor while taking to sell or just taking one at a time with the front loader. and even then sometimes they glitch off the forks.
A decade later. I just found this channel. I wish I saw him earlier, love your vids
Very thorough and easy to understand tutorials. Moose always covers every step. I hope he gets more popular!
My first FS. This brings back memories lol

What sort of dark work in the game makes the best profit in the quickest time?

I didn't even think to mow while I picked up grass. I did both separately. Wow, that would sure cut down on the time.
Glad I could help :)

oh ok thanks, Happy farming!

This helped me a lot thanks
I recommend downloading the chicken coop for easier and faster egg collecting
ok, thanks, i didnt know if i was crazy and seeing things or what? lol great tutorial though, explained a lot :)
Does the eggs just come or do you feed them with somthing?
They're automatic. No feeding or maintenance required. Just make sure you pick the eggs up so they can lay another the next day!
how do you feed chickens?
You don't. All you do is buy them and collect their eggs daily. Sorry I didn't make this clear in the video.
It is possible to go 2 wide and 5 long for a total of 10 on that wagon
How you speed ur time like 120x pls someone help !!

You don't! Just pick up the eggs!
Moose2006LP
Thanks!
Try the 7 and 8 keys.
Cool
Computer seems better then 360 u can't even buy a shed and u can't load combines on a trailer
It's not a very good tutorial if you can't even stack some simple pallets on a trailer and run into everything .
Obviously we like farmers if we're looking at sim farm tutorials... wrong forum for your rant.
