That Westopolis track sounds super cinematic and climactic. Anyways when they unveiled the Movie DLC they had Westopolis playing so maybe this is for that.

1:41 And on top of that, Sonic is meant to win the fight because in base genrations, he collects a chaos emerald from winning against Shadow.
Both perspectives will probably have the same post battle cutscene where Shadow (begrungingly) hands the Chaos Emerald to Sonic so he can deal with the Time Eater whilst he continues pursuing Black Doom on his end.

Ngl I was thinking about this but if shadow wins the fight wouldn't that create a time loop or something? Sonic needs the emerald to win against time eater. If shadow wins the fight and keeps the emerald he can't beat time eater unless something in the story is changed for that to happen. Im curious to know what're they gonna do about that for this to work considering they said both stories are happening at the same time

The critique of the B rank pose is so minor in my opinion. First of all, that was a fully animated rank pose. Second, we’re lucky there are even different rank animations, cuz there weren’t any in forces
We aren't 'lucky' for something that was in base Gens already
To be fair in the regular generations, the camera didn’t move with the characters while they were doing the animation

Radical Highway sounding Rad
I think that the westopolis remix will be used for the movie dlc, because in the trailer we hear the normal westopolis
I feel like Westopolis would be a great Shad 05 track to cap it off along with maybe some variations of other stages. (Ex. How space colony had trippy radical highway) but this time it’s amped up to the max.

Anyone else paranoid about the open zone? Because we've seen everything in the levels themselves. But not a single trace of open zone content. I wonder if white space is gonna be an extremely short portion of the game.
Most likely, the levels are the main meat this time round.

They are deliberate in saying it's a hub world inspired by the open zones,and not exactly an open zone, so I expect that it'll be small, but have more secrets than Adventure's hub words.

Assuming the rival bossfight with Sonic is gonna be worse only because the engine isn't the same is really pretentious. Heck, for all I know, the enhanced combat mechanics from Shadow Gens have the potential to make this the better version of the fight. Ya'll need to stop putting the Havok physics on a pedestal fr
The shadow gens victory pose looks better than the forces one imo, the fur colours looks more washed in forces and he looks weird with the shorter proportions
The modern cast were made with longer limbs so they can make more dynamic and exaggerated poses
I'd expect the new Sonic fight to be very different and account for Shadows unique abilities.

I don’t actually think having Westopolis as a stage in this game is a bad idea. The reason I think so is because Radical Highway is only a segment at the end of the Space Colony Ark, and this would be a full stage.
Radical Highway is its own zone

@@teamsonicchannel4400 in the Doom Powers trailer you see Shadow starting a level in Radical Highway with his wings out. That’s obviously not connected to The Ark as the geometry starts there so it must be its own stage. We’ve also seen the stage with multiple different skybox colours, implying it has multiple levels.
Saying not wanting to see another city level is the most ridiculous excuse ever 😑

I think the ranking system is just not implemented properly. It's early gameplay and there's no point in giving the real ranking system in there for people who'll be playing the game once just to get a feel for it.

If they were to have a fight with Shadow and Sonic it could play out as an alternative version of the original fight's ending, where Sonic never gets the emerald from Shadow. Then Shadow would have access to 1 emerald during his story, then once he shows up while both Sonics are struggling against the Time Eater with only 6 of the emeralds, he can save them by throwing the final emerald to them.
That's how I'd imagine they could handle the Shadow Vs. Sonic fight while giving us a new level to battle on. Makes sense for a new version of a game about time travel to include an altered timeline.
There won’t be different versions of radical highway for all different radical highway zones 🤣 that would be ridiculous and there’s only so many ideas that exist. There will only probably be 2 or 3. 1 for the end of space colony ark and then 2 for both zones.
The sonic rival fight will probably just be the original sonic and shadow fight but from shadow perspective. Collision and sonics boost won’t be an issue cos they would have reworked it.
5:56 Sonic fans will always find something to nitpick about, as for the Westopolis news, I think the game will have two Shadow 05 stages, just like they did with SA2, we could get any stage from Digital Circuit, to Sky Troops, Lava Shelter or Black Comet

Or this could be the theme they implement in the credits. Like how there were beats from all the stages in base Generations in the end credits roll.
I hope that Sega will include White Jungle, Final Fortress, Gun Fortress, Black Comet and Dusty Dessert as the stages of Shadow Generations. I also hope that Infinite will added as a boss fight. Lastly, I hope that Sonic Generations remastered will be indeed remastered in Sonic X Shadow Generations.
I think the Westopolis soundtrack will be for the Sonic movie 3 level because Westopolis was playing in the background of the video.
I want glyphic canyon prison island or black comet. doom surf would work well with the green poisonous liquid.
I would like to see Sky Troop as a stage level from Shadow the Hedgehog, I would like to hear their remkx version of the ost.
I'm pretty sure an alien domain level from Shadow will make it even though Prison Island makes the most sense.

The original Gen’s had Hard Mode for the boss fights, so I assume it’ll be the same in Shadow Gen’s. Hopefully they go a bit further with it tho, cuz the original Hard Modes weren’t too different from the normal boss fights
