Love you're channel. I'm also into guns, gear and coffee. I had to get a professional espresso machine to keep from blowing all my money at coffee shops. Plus, I'm no fan of Starbucks. I already have a Ruger SR-22 rifle, I think I may add the Takedown to my collection. I don't mind looking tactical since I live in mall town North Carolina. Folks in my area would probably look at me cross eyed if they saw me with a civilian looking backpack. I do get your point though. You know, they do make some 550 cord gun slings that would be more comfortable. If you need some cordage, all you have to do is un-weave them. BX-25 mags work just fine in my SR-22, but I do like how the 10 round mag's don't stick out. Thanks for posting.
I have recently upgraded to the 10/22 takedown lite model with the same setup and even though it lacks iron sights, its still my favorite plinking and woods walk setup. Thanks for the sub!
heinekenboy I considered doing that, but what I ended up doing was getting a quarter inch bit driver and then I carry the 2 quarter inch bits in it as well. I've actually just finished putting together a micro survival tin and I'm going to go out and do an overnighter using just the contents of the tin. Thanks for watching man.
I just purchased a takedown and a magpul stock so I was really interested in your video till you said looting to live, that goes against everything I believe and thats where I stopped watching.
Awesome walkthrough. I just ordered my first 10/22 TD model and definitely getting this backpack stock. Cool setup

Let's go OH!!! Some very useful tips!
Can you make a video on how you made that sling???
I'd like to see that as well
What optic mount did you use that allows you to use the "iron" sights when the Red Dot is removed?
Sub #92. Nice video no bs straight forward review. I found the video informative, thank you for posting. Hope to see more in the future.
You know you've had enough coffee when you can thread the needle on your sewing machine while it's still running!
10:20 you can adjust the tension of that contact area by rotate the lut
Good review, I subscribed to your channel
Great video. Good ideas.
Thanks. I have a follow up video coming soon to show other considerations with this setup.

@@gunsgearcoffee5322 i'm doping one on my X-22 backpacker to you,re video really helped me for some stuff
Nice video on a great rifle. Ive washed the same bic lighter in my pants 4 times, still works😂.
You dry fire, isn't it bab for the hammer ? I eard it's not a problem with the 1022, is that right ?
You shouldn't dry fire any rimfires, but I have never had it before an issue with the 10/22's
You look like a guy who takes his coffee pretty seriously.
Nice video, and hello from NC....iI love my 10/22 takedown, take it everywhere, got mine in a trade but got no stock carry bag, wanna sell yours?
I recently just traded my stainless 18" model for the takedown lite model. It came with the newer bag and I use that for both the 10/22 and my 22/45
but how are you gonna survive the post-apocalyptic world without coffee
Running?
Yep. Running.

How did you make the sling? What‘s the slider part to adjust the length and what parts are you using to attach it to the stock?
I solely use paracord with stopper knots through the qd attachment points. As far as the slider, I use a modified prussiks hitch/slip knot.
@@gunsgearcoffee5322 nice! Thank you
