  • Biochar is fairly easy to make and use to improve soil fertility and health. In this video, we'll see how some was made in a pit and look at a couple different ways I inoculate it with beneficial microbes, as well as "charge" or load it up with nutrients. I'll also show how I use it in my garden soil. Gardens, lawns, trees, and shrubs all benefits from adding carbon to the soil. Applying biochar helps insure that some carbon will remain in the soil for many years. Below are links to some other videos about biochar, as well as links to items I use when gardening with biochar. I receive a commission from some of the links in the description. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Great video. Thanks I will try your method. I just tried blood meal yesterday for the first time in.my garden it rained last night. And boy my onion plants doubled in leave size over night. It's true that organic natural forms of fertilizer give better results than those made from mined minerals.
