Played HS football in New Haven, CT, with Floyd, and I had the honor of attending his HOF induction weekend at Canton. I am proud to call him a friend. It is a cliche' to describe someone as a "great guy", but he really was, in every way, exceptional. Condolences to his loving family.
R.I.P. Floyd Little, before Terrell Davis he was synonymous with the word "Running back" in Denver. Even when there were some pretty good guys in the '80s.
Thoughts and prayers to the Little family. Too long a story & won't bore everyone. Growing up in Detroit in the late 60's - early 70's Floyd Little was my fav RB. Pretty much impossible to follow Denver in Detroit but luckily found away. RIP Floyd & thank you.
@@alienmcqueen hey bend, I remember him being one of the BEST in the league on a horrible Broncos team. Which I thought was pretty cool. He was always in the top 2or3 in all-purpose yards. Was a different game back then. RB'S for the most part just ran the ball. He had power & was fast as hell. Broncos went to the Superbowl a couple yrs after he retired.Without social media, it was very hard to follow guys in the AFL. Here in Detroit it was only Lions, Packers, Bears, Vikings. The only highlights were on halftime of MNF in early 70's. A relative of mine was able to get his autograph for me in 1974. He's just always my fav RB as a kid

I’m from Denver and got to watch him play at the old mile high. One of the absolute best.
One of my favorite players 'all time'

2:50 says it all. RIP Mr. Little. One of my first childhood football idols.
Spot on....😉
One of many great Syracuse running backs that made their mark in Pro Football. Including the best ever. Jim Brown
My takeaway from this video: Floyd Little on the right side of the field = you lose.
