This is a great example of "you have a problem and you can solve it because you can code" Obviously improvements could be made, like a split mode where it does separate, numbered files per segment/line for easy drag n drop when editing and the added benefit that you could save those sections as they are recorded and won't lose too much data in case something crashes. And maybe add some command line parameters for the thresholds and audio recording parameters. ^^
If you add an UI where you can select a txt file to read from, a copy paste field for the text, (there the text also is shown if loaded from file and where you can edit the text), a save as field, a info and a start botten. And make sure you have an easy quit and save botten from both screens. Compile it to an exe file with a icon and a good name and you have a little programe that many people would find super useful. Maybe make a video edition also that sould help many YTbers.👍
