@@Forsy23 yeah I’m in London and my friend just checked the pair he had at his store and they have the stitching error also. It’s funny how you pointed this out to everyone because the pair I seen at JD Sports had this and I noticed it and pointed it out to the sales rep. He said there was no issue with the stitching and it was my eyes lol. And I seen your video this morning and said “Jesus I knew I wasn’t off my rocker”. I’m wondering if it’s maybe a Canadian thing.
The other thing is that the Jumpman logos on the outsoles are smaller than what’s seen on the OG and the 2010 retro. But at least the left one is facing the correct direction; these would’ve been a definite pass if it was facing right. That said, I’ll hold off on these and wait for either a used pair to go on sale, or for them to sell below retail at the outlets.
That’s What I Always Said White/Black Pair Only Released In 1993 The Rest Of The 3 Colorways Were Released In 1994 Powder Blue Charcoal & Olive I Can Tell From The Johnny Kilroy Commercial
Its a gamble. I say buy them and keep em deadstock to see how the market goes. 30 days is enough time to tell whether you should return them and buy cheaper elsewhere. That's what I'm gonna do with my pair. If they end up selling out, our pairs are secured
I think Nike makes these shoes inaccurate on purpose so they can release them over and over again. If they get it right the first time people may not come back for them again. I'm sure they have the original blue prints and it shouldn't be hard to match these shoes close to the OG's. They seem to always change something or leave something out that shouldn't be that hard to replicate.
After seeing multiple pics I was on the fence due to the way the toe box looked. I always wanted these since a kid but wasn't able to get a pair till the 2010 retros. Didn't like the shape and materials on those and eventually sold them. I copped today out of curiosity, I hope I like them when I get them in hand. Thanks for pointing out those issues.
Went to my local Snipes, saw the shoe and noticed how thin the mud guard was, lower than recent 9 releases, I don’t know what the cut looked like on the original pair so thought they may have gotten it right, thanks for breaking it down to us.
Appreciate you pointing out the mudguard. It’s super obvious now, but might not have noticed it. On instagram, you said you made the blue cut lines more noticeable. How’d you do that?
Excluding the Jordan 4 Bred reimagine, every Jordan release this yr have been trash. Honestly the only Jordan’s I’m looking forward to are the military blue 4s and the green glow 1s
@@Forsy23 its why I follow your channel bro. Idk how many times I've heard the 23 thing brought up but nobody talks about these more subtle details. I wasn't around for the OG releases so Im glad there are real OGs in the game still dropping knowledge.
I just got these '24 release and I HATE them! I like when the 23 is on the back. they look cheap! like UA's. I'm selling mine! not even putting them on!
Thanks I appreciate it . It is just if you are going to do it do it right. I grew up during the hey day when these first came out and it was just so different. They were works of art. Now they are just cheap copy’s . But I with the copy at least looked like the original.
I still have my 2010-11 versions but you can’t go wrong with the OG’s either! I say if someone is paying attention to your sneakers and on them close to look at the details like that then they have no life and nothing else better to do seriously! I would love to buy these again but the ones I still have are still in great condition so I may have to pass but great video nonetheless! 👌🏿
That mudguard complaint ain’t even a big deal that’s what I think. Smh no ten pairs will be absolutely the same. Lol I can’t believe People complain if a something is off by 5%
They’re nice but let’s face it these were not hyped like the Bred 4’s. Every retro isn’t gonna sell like that or run off the shelves like that. I’ve seen outlets selling them BELOW retail already. These sneakers should cost $160-$180…this is not a $200+ sneaker.
Checked my pair and although I wish the mudguard was a bit higher both shoes are the same height thankfully. I agree that for $270 CAD these should have been bang on to the OG’s.
I copped today, I had to look at 8 pairs all together from 3 different stores because of QC. Another crazy thing that happened was, when I was checking the QC, the shoe salesman started hating on 9s, "these ain't doing it for me", talking about the recent releasesed green 3s were better lol. The kicker is, he was in his 40s hating on these OGs smdh.🙄😆
@icebergnitro I'm 38, he didn't care about nor knew about the shoes, especially J's. When I'm selling anything, I learn about what I'm selling and above all, you don't talk down on the product your selling lol, that's just good business.

The OGs did not release in 1993. I own a pair of the charcoal 9s in June of 94’ then the powder 9s release later that summer.

Don’t get me wrong as I said 8/10 but that mudguard being different hightail bothers me . But for the most part they are good
Man that hat is so fire 🔥 man great video 📹 I think the color of the military 4's is too close to the OG color of the shoe so they lightened 😅it up.

Try $160 then it makes more sense. $210 for shotty pleather found on a 73 Pinto just ain't cutting it.

Not exact but should be better
