I have a bloodhound... anytime i sing in my house, he sings the song of his people back to me and has actually taught my other dog how to howl. It’s hilarious! I love seeing other pups sing the song of their people. Hahahaha
Anytime I'm feeling mad or sad I watch this beautiful dog and he instantly changes my mood!! He is so special 💗

What a treat! Just discovered Hugo today. Thanks for sharing his joy & love of music with us all. Does he sing to any other styles of music? He sure seems to have the blues as well as a rockers spirit. I can even picture him singin along to some old school country. A little Hank Williams "Lovesick Blues" yodeling. Back in my gigging days, I would have loved to have Hugo set in! For a real singing dog treat, listen to Sheamus by Pink Floyd off their Meddle album.

💖Best Dog's Life: I haven't watched ALL these videos, but in one of them, he clearly looks extremely happy. He looks relaxed to my eye in all of them. Do you think he's happy, or enjoying the music? Or do you think some of the notes just bring some response?
My German Shepherd howls every time a siren goes off, whenever a firetruck or police car goes by. He DOESN'T seem unhappy, but I read mixed things from veterinarians and dog behaviorists about this. My guy tolerates fireworks, gunshot sounds, thunder, without a problem. When he howls, I find it unbearably cute, but I wonder if I should put him inside; I worry that perhaps the sound is stressing him. No hackles up or anything. Your videos are the first I've seen where I think the dog seems to show that he's actually enjoying it.
Please share your impression briefly, I'd really appreciate it. I know you WOULDN'T intentionally stress beautiful Hugo, I just wonder if you think he's actually enjoying this, or is it just a biological, instinctual (neutral) response to certain sounds? Such a lovely, lovely boy!!💖🐾💖
Hi, Hugo just absolutely loves opera music. We can put opera on at the lowest volume and no matter where he is in the house he will come running and wagging his tail. What everyone doesn’t see is that once we have recorded a video and stopped the opera he then gives his paw for us to play more. We would not play the music if we thought it harmed or distressed him in anyway. He just loves opera and gets very excited when he hears it - he would listen to it all day if he could.
@@BestDogsLifeUK that's awesome! And I feel better too, my boy doesn't seem stressed when he occasionally howls, but I was a little worried maybe his ears hurt or something at sounds that trigger it. 😁🐾👍👍
