    Loved the boat analogy.

Even though, lofting..seems to be ..in today's world...the roots to all kinds of dance..but I like your interpretation....because you always give credit to the old timers

This man?? Ejoe Wilson is probably the best to do house dancing,an icon in the house culture. He was clubbing to house from it’s arrival to nyc from Chicago in the mid 80s until now.

@@prestontamaica1there its a docunebary call " come as you are ' i believe this guy Ejoe its in it but as a house dancer not a loft dancer he's probably too young for the loft ,

@@prestontamaica1I grew up with my brother Ejoe he didn’t start as a house dancer he was a hip hop dancer. He switch to house around early 90s. Ask him. House dance didn’t come from Chicago either. The name house came from Chicago but the dance is nyc. It came out of the loft and the garage. I saw lofting in the late 80s and footwork soon after that. But it was already a mature style so I’d guess the styles were a lot older. Probably came out of the garage and the loft. Some of the dancers still dance like loose, chino etc… they may be able to give the lineage a lot more accurate than me.

@@GoldskoolSmh... Ok...I've been to the loft bro...the second one not the first...Yes...I was too young for the first...I'm only 53 ...but I do know what I speak of....I did know David met him a few times as I was going to parties in the late 80's. I do not know you...do I? I do know many loft heads as good friends and I do know loft...sorry if this upsets you....although is ok to share my opinion on where these many dance styles are and are going....and in this case it is the differences between the two..." This Guy" is a teacher of many styles and has been doing this for over 35 years...I'm not someone who sits behind a keyboard bitter at things said ...I am not hard to find...you can speak to me in person if you dare...that said...have a good day.
