Do u know where can I get the USA version rom (Sega Genesis) of this game ?? With the english title. I have seen a cartridge´s cover in english, not japan or europe. I am looking for the usa version rom. I only got the Sega Genesis cover cartridge tap and I converted it to .png 484 x 680 px.

I like the PC Engine one as good or better. It doesn't have the highly annoying FM-fart sound for bullets that destroys the music. It is hard, but not too bad if you set it on easy and use the auto-fire off your controller.
Yes, this one's Single Player Japanese version with checkpoints, whilst anywhere else is Co-Op available with instant respawn, which is why I prefer the latter.
I don't get what you mean by calling this game a rip-off. That's like calling Ninja Gaiden a rip off of Castlevana. Both have platforming, a short attack weapon, and long distance weapons that uses power-ups that you pick up but both are different in many ways. If this game had the same power-ups and bosses among other things then I would agree. Instead I would say it is very similar but not really a rip-off. This game has one big long level, very few power ups, and goes over land. That is not to say I like this game, it visually appealing but not much depth.
This game is by the same developer as Tiger Heli. And Flying Shark, and Fire Shark, and Twin Cobra, and Tatujin. that's why they are all similar, check out Toaplan on Wikipedia.

Funnily enough, this game has zero aerial enemies. So no wonder why the enemy force lost the war.

The Mega Drive port of this game was really good. Too bad the PC Engine port is nearly impossible.

Yeah this is the japanese version, Twin Hawk is actually a bit harder than this one.

This and Tiger Heli were not from Taito, but from Toaplan. Taito just got the license to put the games out in arcades.
