Make a COLORED tornado vortex in clear water! ~ Incredible Science

Hi guys! In this tornado in a bottle experiment I'll show you something really cool. I'll show you how to make really cool colorful tornado vortexes or whirpools while keeping the waer clear! All you need is a bottle, a tornado connector, clear lamp oil and some food coloring and oil coloring...or you can just buy colored lamp oil. When you spin the bottle the water forms a vortex in the bottle. To see it better use colored lamp oil together with water and the water and tornado will be 2 different colors! When you use just regular food coloring to color the tornado the whole vortex will be one color. But if you add lamp oil coloring then the tornado will be one color and the water will be clear! So cool!

Should make one with all the colors...but use different weight oils so that they dont mix in the bottle.

Cool idea but problem is when you spin it they’ll temporarily mix so u won’t see the diff colors until it settles

I used 99 percent liquid paraffin oil with water but the water will go down the tube first and leave the oil behind. Can anyone tel me what’s wrong with my setup
