@@dominiquewilson2127 I mean, possibly, but I doubt. They really have their own niche imo and I hope that not many bands follow that up. Like, their sound is like very electronic, synthy, heavy ass fuck riffs (like holy hell double drop d?) and kinda trap-like production. Sure there might be bands that take inspiration from that because I think Brand of Sacrifice kinda followed up with the electronics but they made it different. I really do not think that if anyone copies Darko, they're gonna be as successful or praised.
Thrown, the side project of Buster from HLB, funny how it's like 7x the size on spotify as HLB. He's really that good that he can genre hop and succeed like this. Best production in Metal for me no doubt, too.
@@davewetering7554Turns out people were wrong when they said that there's no such as a wrong/bad opinion. Shadow of Intent runs fucking circles around Hollow Prophet in literally every aspect of their music.
idk if u know but marcus (the singer) had a band called grieved and they broke up back in 2016? i can't remember but he has the experience and u can hear some of grieved in here. im so happy to see that he got the recognition he should've had in grieved
Feel like this is unpopular, but Stone Sour was my favorite side gig. For one, Corey is a legend. But also reminded me of my childhood listening to hard rock with my dad
Sick track, you should check out the new Dissociation track, super groovy death core that hardcore keem has been hyping! Also Omerta is a sick band that don't see many people mentioning , heard about them from Finn Mckenty
It's not super heavy, but The Story So Far's frontman Parker Cannon has a side project called No Pressure. It's early 2000s pop punk with a TSSF vibe to it. Great summertime cruising music 🤘🏼
Favorite side project? Hard to pick, DARKO US is i think an obvious choice. But i also wanna name drop Killer Be Killed (members of Soulfly, Mastodon, Dillinger escape plan)
END. Not really a "side-project" bzt END is one of the best deathcore/grindcore(?)/whatever heavy bands out there. I just see them as the other band from each member.
Bear Mountain Park (Eddie from Imminence) Hurtwave (Rory from Dayseeker) Heart of Gold (Michael from Being as an Ocean) Trade Wind and Wish You Were Here (Jesse from Stick to Your Guns) Ghost Atlas (Jesse from Erra) There's probably more that I'm forgetting, but these are my favorites I could think of right now.
Thank ya'll for checking out this absolute banger of a song & band!
yo this band fucking slam!
On the verge.
I feel like this is gonna be said alot but Darko US is def my favorite side project. Theyre soooo good.
they're so quality, it doesn't even feel like side project anymore, it's fucking amazing
Darko US is one of those bands I really feel like is changing the game.

Probably my new favorite song of theirs. Just non-stop stank face throughout the whole song.
Best production in the entire fucking scene. Like fucking jesus man, Buster is a magician
Thrown swinging for the fences on the first day of June. Damn.
END and Hollow Prophet are my fave side projects
Hollow prophet in my opinion is better then shadow of intent
@@davewetering7554Turns out people were wrong when they said that there's no such as a wrong/bad opinion. Shadow of Intent runs fucking circles around Hollow Prophet in literally every aspect of their music.
@@SWC-el8lp your opinion
Darko for sure. Absolutely adore them. Thrown is also incredible, stoked to see if this is going to lead to another EP or a full length.
Love the insanely quick reaction. Absolute banger yet again🔥🔥
Really been diggin PsychoFrame lately! Members of Moodring and Vatican are in it, old school deathcore kinda sound!

Glad to see my boy get some roses!
Feel like this is unpopular, but Stone Sour was my favorite side gig. For one, Corey is a legend. But also reminded me of my childhood listening to hard rock with my dad
Fun fact... Technically, Slipknot is the side project. Both Corey Taylor and Jim Root were playing in SS for a few years before joining Slipknot.
Damn bogdan is fast with this reaction. Awesome track 🔥
thrown FUCKS
my favorite side project is Darko, kinda generic of an answer but i listen to their music almost every day so yeah
Love this band. Restored my faith in music.
Gotta say Haunted Shores (Mrak And Misha from Periphery) cuz jeeez both records are insanity
HAVE to do the new Moodring-WOULDYOUWAITFORME song!!!🤘🏻
Fav side project is Mire Lore, Stoort neer is close 2nd. Love this track, love that this group is just straight to the cut.
What a great song. Reminds me a lot of polaris❤
Awesome new song from Thrown as usual! 🤘
Trade Wind it's my pick. One of the side projects of Jesse Barnett (Stick To Your Guns) with the Stray From The Path guitarrist in this case.
I've been waiting for this one for so fucking long bro
Favorite side project ? Definitely Beautifully Worthless Being, a solo project by Justin Bonitz, the singer of Tallah.
There' s a new Moodring song! \m/
I would say the first LP by the “band” Stoort Neer is one of my favs
The whole song is basically a breakdown
Nothing wrong with that
The fastest reaction guy in the west.
I really like High Wing, side project of Jared & Elliot from Blessthefall
Rory Rodriguez’s Hurtwave project
Big Alpha Wolf vibes
You should react to "Opaque" or "Fogbound" from the singers old band, Grieved. Also bangers!
Thrown and kub show I'd leave my kids for
Id say Onslow or Cherry, great side projects
i fucking love this band
love this song, the beatdown riff is just isnane
fuck yeah sweden represent.
the singing/vocals reminds me of THE GHOST INSIDE
Wow what a great song 👊🏼
Times of Grace; side project of Adam D. and Jesse Leach from Killswitch Engage.
Sick track, you should check out the new Dissociation track, super groovy death core that hardcore keem has been hyping! Also Omerta is a sick band that don't see many people mentioning , heard about them from Finn Mckenty
Really love Orphan Twin by Cory and his bro
Darko US is for sure the best side project in whole metal community rn
THE NEW ALBUM IS OUT
Mine is Darko but another close one is Stoort Neer (Calle Thomér side) 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Kinda off-topic I know but why the heck a band called Thrown uses a font basically identical to the one the band Down uses?
Austrian Death Machine. Is that considered a side project?
Middleton's Sylosis if that counts? Well... now that he left architects not anymore. Check out that new single from this week for sure!
I always saw Architects as his side project. You can tell Sylosis is his true passion.
If Darko still even counts as a side project at this point, definitely them
This is a chocolate right there. So yummy. never enough xx
As a side project definately Darko US. Damn I love them
Mire Lore?
Stoort Neer?
It's not super heavy, but The Story So Far's frontman Parker Cannon has a side project called No Pressure. It's early 2000s pop punk with a TSSF vibe to it. Great summertime cruising music 🤘🏼
Agreed ☝🏻
Favorite side project? Hard to pick, DARKO US is i think an obvious choice. But i also wanna name drop Killer Be Killed (members of Soulfly, Mastodon, Dillinger escape plan)
Try not to headbang 2023
I’m obsessed with
END.
Not really a "side-project" bzt END is one of the best deathcore/grindcore(?)/whatever heavy bands out there. I just see them as the other band from each member.
I would say Afterparty Drew from SFTP and I think their old drummer Dan. Pop punk kind of vibe
FUCK YES
The Hate Project - Blessed With Malevolence
The Hate Project - Buried Alive
Heavyness from Sweden 🤘
Not my fav (can't think of any other atm), but Devin Oliver from I See Stars had a few neat side project tracks, iirc.
Might be SION or Darko Us
Boundaries- Bedlam
Sounds awesome! Also *Moodring* has a new song out, you gotta check it out!
Why can I not find this shit on Apple Music
Those lyrics hit way too close to home.
so much alphawolf but new song fire tho
Sound like ALPHA WOLF
Better than alpha wolf tbh
Darkooooo
Band always throws down
Not familiar with Thrown, besides your reactions I didnt listen to them at all, is Buster only doing production or is he a member ?
Member
Darko is so good it ain’t even a side project anymore. Chelsea Grin and Spite (two amazing bands) are the side projects now lmao
Bear Mountain Park (Eddie from Imminence)
Hurtwave (Rory from Dayseeker)
Heart of Gold (Michael from Being as an Ocean)
Trade Wind and Wish You Were Here (Jesse from Stick to Your Guns)
Ghost Atlas (Jesse from Erra)
There's probably more that I'm forgetting, but these are my favorites I could think of right now.
Darko the best without a doubt
You gotta do the new BMTH song, no spoilers, but it’s my favourite song of theirs, surpassing Pray For Plagues Ft. Will Ramos
