- Insta 360 X4 has final got the Auto Exposure bracketing and I'm here to see how good this Update is just a test for fun and to see what I can do with this on my journey to Learning VFX using Blender 🧶

good little video, i saw that the 4 didn't have it on Reddit, so i just picked up the 3 instead.
I have option for the amount of brackets, with a maximum of 9.
and i can also choose the difference in exposure between my brackets, so i put it to 1 stop.
thats 9 stops of range.
typically on a DSLR i know 13-14 stops is good, but 9 is probably fine, about to test it out with ACES work flow tomorrow. would also like to try delighting with it using Ian Hubert's method.
Not sure how to feel about this, clearly I was robbed in clear daylight :'D
9 is still a pretty good number!

hopefully they fix the feature on the x4 ASAP!

Hi! It works with a single shot? It takes all the pictures at once? Also it's 72 megapixel shot? I read it was limited to 18 can you confirm? Thank you .
@@juscuro hey so it "works" is a loose term. As from what people said online compared to what the camera offers in terms of AEB contrast a lot in features however to your questions
1. It does take 3/5/7 pictures at once
2. Can only use this feature AEB on 18 megapixel so yes it is limited to 18 meg
I go over it in the video there's a part of the video where I show how it looks when using the AEB and you can see the dark to the lightest of the individual 7 photos taken at once.

@No1.Husbando thanks so much for the explanation, in you video you jump from 18 to 72 back and forth, so I got confused, it's a shame it's only available for the 18mp, I hope they fix that in the future firmwares, I want to use it exactly for the same thing as you, HDRIs for VFX. Thank you again.
