This get me thinking about how since she hinted her interest in horses, you had something to connect to. So it really takes all parties to be willing to put a bit of themselves out there and make the effort to find the connections with those around them.
Love this addition! And if a person is shy it makes me want to take more care to acknowledge and engage with what they've shared. I've been learning recently that when people who don't speak a lot finally say something, it presents a rare opportunity to get to know them.
I recently graduated from college and find myself in a period of isolation away from the community I formed as a student, I feel that your video has motivated me to find new people and get myself out there
it's 7 am in the country where i live in rn. i didn't sleep tonight and kept refreshing my homepage until i saw something that i wanted to watch. i'm glad i did, you seem very lovely and chill. i really would love an older sister like you. i'm in a place in my life that made me realize i was basically performing as someone i'm not all these years. i mostly feel fake. and the sad part is i think i don't even know who i actually am. people always tell me that i look very easygoing and very nice to talk to when i open up about these thoughts that i have. it doesn't even feel like a compliment anymore. do you have any suggestions for someone like me to try as they find themself? i will turn 21 in april btw.
I remember being 20! The cool thing about it is that you have an entire decade to experiment and explore who you really are. Give yourself a little more grace. :) I used to think I was masquerading as someone else too. As it turns out, those versions of me I used to cringe at were still me, but small samplers of different versions of myself that didn't quite make sense at the time. Keep on living! 10 years from now you'll look back and see how all those different iterations of you inform your authentic self! Thank you for watching! 🦋
@loharris_art i will try to have more patience for myself. hopefully i can learn to be satisfied. and i hope your channel grows quickly so more people like myself can watch your videos!! thank you for responding btw :>

It's wonderful to hear my perspective is helping you through this transition! I wish you all the best in finding your new community.
