Great list!!! I read them all except False witness but to be honest I’m a little afraid of Karin Slaughter after I read Pretty Girls!

Haha I feel you, Pretty Girls was INTENSE. But False Witness is a bit less intense like that if you know what I mean! Horrible things are still happening, but it’s ‘easier’ than Pretty Girls

Her books have such a high level of grit and goriness.. she's definitely not for everyone!

No Exit was brutally twisted and genuinely scary. I just wish it didn't have such a slow start but I am glad I persevered. John Marrs lives just down the road from me.. I absolutely loved The One. My favourite from his books! SO excited for The Family Upstairs 2!!! Eeeeek. The Family Upstairs was only the beginning....

I recently read Something in the Water by Catherine Steadman- it starts off great with the main character explaining just how physically taxing it is to bury a body!

Thank you! Happy to hear that! I haven’t M.J. Arlridge books I’m afraid, but my mother has and she really likes them 😊

Eeny Meeny had such a SAW feel to it. I loved the strong representation of a female lead too, even if she did annoy me slightly haha. Great twist and a satisfying amount of gore for horror lovers haha

Yes! Loved Misery. Now i'm interested in Karin Slaughter but I don't know where to start. Feels a bit weird to start with her last book, but maybe that's just me. If you haven't read the books by Gillian Flynn, you should. I have a feeling you will like them.
Love your look and the vid

I get that it feels a bit weird, but False Witness is a standalone so you'd be totally fine if you started with that one!
But of course you can also start with Blindsided, which is her first published novel. And I always recommend The Good Daughter, because it's one of my favorites (also a standalone!)
I've read Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn! Really good and disturbing (in a good thriller way haha).
      Thank you 🥰

Pretty girls by Karin Slaughter is a standalone, I have two books I’m reading currently, I’m reading pretty girls by Karin Slaughter, and I’m reading Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
