Use Shutterfly or something like it- to make your dad fun Goosie goodies!! You could do a book of pics, coffee mugs, key chains, calendar, and so on- it's always so loved!

I'm with you. Your grandma is a queen for giving you a specific list. My husband and I have a tradition of doing toys, games, puzzles etc for gifts. It's fun. We also like to just take eachother shopping and buy eachother stuff.

I forget exactly how old August is, but I think around the 9 month mark there's a development phase where they start being aware of proximity...aka...when people leave the room

My 15mo LOVES cottage cheese. She has it for breakfast every morning and doesnt make a mess anymore because she shovels it in!

Our babies are almost the same age and I’m literally going through the same thing! My baby has her 2 front teeth coming in and is a bit cranky. My husband was on a business trip so I had to put her to bed by myself and she was hysterical. He came home and put her to bed the next day and she fell asleep in like 5 min. I think it’s because I’m the food machine so she doesn’t want me to leave.

The Canadian Postal Service is currently on strike, so online shopping is tricky for us this year because you have to make sure it will ship with a different carrier (and even then, those carriers usually transfer over to Canada Post anyways...).
So in person shopping has had a Canadian revival this year. Also, as a chronically late person, this means my Christmas cards might be "on time".

Have you confirmed cottage cheese is gluten free? My husband is celiac and he gets a reaction from certain brands. It’s was shocking to us
