    Impressive laps! You don't see many people shifting mid corner (turn 9)

      @franco yeung yea it’s not necessarily recommended, but when your heavy car has under 300ft-lbs of torque you have to keep the revs up! 😁

    God that car is so fast! You exceed my top speed by 10 mph before the kink on the straight

      @sparkys2k I reckon it may be the fastest four door around here, and can fit all of the groceries still.

      @@TC_OFF Yeah, but I'd hate to see what the groceries look like after a few laps!

      Haha yea that would be a bit more ideal. I at least have a roll bar and schroth 6pt with Hans.

      @@RyanDohertyRacing I've raced OW since 1987 so am well aware and have been exposed to all the dangers. That said, the governing bodies (SCCA, etc.) have minimum safety standards, which apply to every entrant.

    Well now I'm confused.
    I did the racing school at pacific and the lines they showed us are different than the sub 1min 30sec laps I've been watching.
    at 4:52 you got close ish to the left of turn 2.
    when I did that they started yelling saying I was making the turn too sharp.
    and again at 5:10 I did that and they told me it was too sharp lol wtf.

    • @TC_OFF
      @TC_OFF  3 года назад +2

      They are teaching the novice/safe/traditional lines, and some of the lines I’m running only make sense if you’re braking deep into the corners.
