"Start changing the size of those little weird things , you can make it whatever you want it to be" Spoken like a modern day Bob Ross. Great vid too, gave me tons of ideas!
I love doing these builds in any game that gives the opportunity! Your video is really good and i did my first Mercury Coupe using your techniques! Hope to see more content soon!
I do got to say, you made every other so called "design tutorials" look like garbage. Loved the advice Btw if you want to make a car look even more like something you pulled from the bottom of a lake, add different color body parts. Really increases the junky vibe. Heck i have even gone as far as to add the numbers the junkyard assigned the parts
Thanks for the tips. I did one speed paint that put new looking fenders on a 32 ford. You can see where i put little bar codes on the fenders like they got sold by a restoration shop. I really appreciate your input.
This videos really helpful, i love making rat rods and shitty looking cars. Some of them have turned out great but straight away yours looks more authentic with less layers needed, nice one 👍
If you want to cover things like where the color went down onto the fender or above the handle... You don't need an "Erase" feature. Just cover it with a shape the same color as the car. What I do is completely cover the car with a very bottom layer the same color as the paint. That wat I know the "cover" shapes will not be visable.
@@Gallo_1.6There's an easy way around that. just make the very bottom layer the body color and have it cover the entire car. That way there's no slight differences when you use that color in upper layers.
@@Gallo_1.6LOL... I'd forgotten what I even said in my original post. I guess it wasn't really clear. I tend to be wordy & babble. Glad you got what I was trying to get at. Hope it helps. That said, is it just me or does it seem like nobody really cares about the liveries anymore? Most of the players I encounter anymore are driving simpler paint schemes. I'm even in a mode where I prefer factory colors.
Late to ask for advice but when I use the "fuzzy ball" it gives me a really distinct grey circular line around the edge of the vinyl that makes it stand out like a sore thumb.
I've seen this happen when using gloss paint. This is partly why I use matte paint. Also some colors are more likely to do this like black for example.
I'll sometimes use a mask over decals and such, but under some of the rust to look like it's peeled off a bit over the years. Looks pretty good. Can't tell if it's quicker than my method of making rust graphics to stamp and reshape everywhere, but I definitely will be adapting a few of your methods.
I am not sure if you are still active, but I wanted to let you know that there is a way to erase stuff! This video was very helpful, but at around 13:26 you complained that there was no way to erase. If you go and create a mask layer, you can move that, and it will erase anything under it!
Hey great vid , Ive just come across this I'm new to painting and trying to do some fenders but it's too fast even when I slow it down could you please slow down those parts so those of us who are just starting out could get the hang of it please
Hey man. I while ago I used your FH3 tutorial to make a burnt out ford panel van. Would you be willing to showcase it? I'm kind of proud of it and think the car is really under used in FH4.
I tried doing this but when I use the gradient circle that you used, it always stamps with a weird grey hard edge (instead of the gradient fading out). Any advice?

Loved it I'm gonna try to build an apocalypse car
Awesome. Feel free to share pics of it to my Facebook page.
I made the one out of state of decay 2 the muscles car or dukes
Love the video.
Just 20 minutes and I get it. Did a crude one and am quite happy with it. A Ford Falcon.
Many thanks.
40-50 years?! This looks like a 5 year old car on norwegian winterroads xD
Love the work. Did some back on Forza Motorsport 4, but not this big :D

Thanks for the info! Started creating my first aged car today!!
What car
Thank you,now i can make barn finds car rusty again 😃
something that would make this look more realistic is having parts of the the car with bare metal exposed under all of the rust
I'll have to try that. Thanks
You did a good rusty job G 👍🏾💯💥
Great job! Thanks for sharing your Forza painting technique's, taught me a thing or two as well, thanks brother!
Thanks.
I learned more on how to use Forza in the first steps with the semi gloss than tuning tricks

I’m trying to make a wasteland vehicle this was helpful

Try a mask shape that works for me ( to get the stuff above the door handle) 😀
Since this video I have learnd that. thanks though.

I do the same...but sometimes...if you've used a matt finish you can see a slight difference in colour...the way the light catches it.

he could also just use a different vinal
I’ve always wondered how to put something under layers I’ve already put down, thanks for explaining it I subscribed
Awesome.
to erase a part of a stamp you can place a mask layer over the part you want to "erase"
Man I just wanna say that this vid was so useful I really hope you start posting again
Dam........ i wish i could be as good as a painter like you. Just doing one panel would take me almost 2 hours because sadly i’m not creative.😥
Just takes time. This actually took me several hours to paint. That's why this video is almost an hour long. Thanks for watching
2 hours is nothing in Forza time:) I did my FF 1 Supra wrap 2 weeks. HangovR1 is Gt if you want to check it out.
Awesome work man. Subbed and 👍
I'm using this to make a old Peugeot rusty because it hasn't been in forza for so long.
Great. Sharing your livery will also make you lots of in game money over time.
Epic job
Thanks.
I tried this with a 1970 Camaro to make like a car that was abandoned and I fixed it and built a performance car
Top class work G..
Thanks Kevon.

Gamertag on Xbox is NVW733HM if you'd care to check them out.
Great looking VW, nice job!!
Thanks.

All this is amazing, thanks for showing this, I think something that u should try to learn Is doing the speedart thing, u do very good
Just uploaded a speed paint yesterday.
Oh cool, I don’t have a good attention span
Nice work
Hey great vid ,
Ive just come across this I'm new to painting and trying to do some fenders but it's too fast even when I slow it down could you please slow down those parts so those of us who are just starting out could get the hang of it please
Im interested to know if you have any videos on how to design a crash look on a vehicle?
I don't but that is a good idea. Maybe I should try one.
@@ClutchTrick That would be AWESOME. I have been trying to do a couple of dents in a truck fender but not having much luck yet
Rick Loy I just turn cosmetic damage on and smash some walls 😂
Rusted baby blue Ford GT would have been perfect for this video
This car reminds me of something that you’d discover under a tarp in the woods
Which is my goal exactly.
Wow thanks! It‘s awesome! I‘m glad that i found you! ^^ keep up the good work
(You‘ve got a new sub)
(Sry for bad english..)
Thanks Trapple.

At least a couple hours.
Ok, it's super satisfying to watch

Yeah can you message me on Xbox about it?
@@ClutchTrick Of course! Thankyou very much.
I just realized that I've been trying to do this tutorial and I am using Forza 5💀
Def will have some differences but you would use the same basic techniques and ideas.
Keep up the good work ! :)
Thanks. I'm trying.
i came here wanting to know how to paint rust so i can rustafie my volkswagon baja bug LOL what a quinkidink
I tried doing this but when I use the gradient circle that you used, it always stamps with a weird grey hard edge (instead of the gradient fading out). Any advice?
Is your base paint color a matte or gloss? I've seen this happen when using a gloss. Also try adjusting transparency.
Whats your xbox an ill show you my build just did it we watching your video
Clutch Trick
"Less tallable"
