- Pure POV Sunday city drive of Fiat 500 MY2020 with 4-cylinder petrol engine with 69 HP and automatic 5-speed transmission Dualogic (robotised manual). Start-up, city drive, manual shifting.
Suspension setup ideal for city, in fast corners the car is not stable. For regular people is transmission fast enough, for car enthusiast it is not. Car is noisy inside above 80 km/h. Car is very smooth with this engine and powerful enough. The car is much more roomy and peactical, as you would expect.
Overall I fell in love with it :)
The fiat is my dream car and I hope I can get it whenever I pass my driver's test!

Get a 500x or 500l if they still make them
I have a 2013 Manual, my first car and god I hope she lives till I need a bigger upgrade. I’ll miss her when I do though.

Oh wow, I have the same exact interior. Only difference is the screen, my 2012 Fiat doesn't have one. But those colors are so beautiful, I have white rims and white mirrors to match

Thank you very much. Well, driving is not easy. Driver must be fast decisive. After learning several people driving including my aunt and fiancee, it is all about practising. If you are determined to drive, just drive when the traffic is low. A month ago, I have driven in Palermo in Sicily and that was intense experience. I was so tired after one hour driving in center there. I am sure you can do it, but the long practising is required :) Even a year might be not enough. First step is to just start driving.

Probably a good, cheap car for a student or as a second car for a retired couple. Don't see many in Australia as cars this small but it looks fun. How much do they cost? Here they're about €13,5k-€14k drive away.
Cheers to Australia :) Here in Slovakia it starts around 12k €, it is produced in Poland which is neighbour country. But 14k €, is not much more consodering the transportation. Due to my Analytics, it is car mostly for women, which is almost 50:50 audience at this video :)

Hi! I have a question: when you park the car, do you have to put the gear on the N or 1 AUTO before turning off the engine?
Hey there! Well, it was more than a year ago, when I drove this car and I am not sure. But I think, there was no need to put it to N or D when turning the engine off :)

I do not have to. You can whenever change gears manually without switching to manual mode. Top speed is 160 kph.

@@jilinak The car is fully capable of changing gears itself like the other cars with automatic transmission do. No difference here :)

@@jilinak Only one difference with this automatic transmission is, that positions PRND are not switching only up to down like on most modern cars, but also side to side. I got used to it in one day, not a big deal :)

Hey there, thanks for the support :) It depends if you like sporty and noisy cars. In my opinion it is not for everybody, depends on your preferences. I would reccomend to try both at your local dealer :)

Hello, thank you for asking. Honestly, I cannot 100 % remember, if it was turned on from previous drive or it is always turning on automatically. Anyway, in this newer 500s and Fiats in general, you have to turn off the start/stop after every start. There is no way, how to disable it pernamently. I think eco mode is the same story, but I am not 100 % sure.

Hey, I am 178 cm tall, I am absolutely fine. As a daily, people around 185 cm are fine. If you are taller, it is okay drive it sometime, but not daily. Even 195 cm guy has driven my Abarth, but it was not comfortable for him. Not very bad, but not comfortable either.

Was looking on a new with automatique transmission and it is possible to move the shiver before i start the car??? No lock system in park!?
Honestly, I am not sure. I think, when you turn off the engine without P, it started beeping. I cannot tell, if you can move it when engine is off. I think yes, but without effect, it is more likely electronically controlled than mechanically. But cannot tell for 100 %.

No problem, it is cruise control :) Cars used to have it on that place, not directly on the steering wheel like nowdays :)

Is Dualogic a good "automatic" transmission?
I am not sure, what does mean "good", but it does the job if you do not want manual. If you have tried any automatic transmission, you will notice that it is not the fastest and the most responsive - it is probably the slowest and least responsive. However, for casual driving, it is enough. It is still faster than regular person changing gears :)
@@LatecoBraxatoris How about Dualogic's shifting characteristics in auto mode? Is it rough, or is it as smooth as torque converter transmission?
@@izzatfauzimustafa6535 In low and mid rpm it is smooth, no kicks like with dualclutch. At high rpm I am not sure, car had 10 km when I got it, so I was not driving above 4 000 rpm.
No, in Brazil Fiat lauched many cars with this transmission, and they sold a lot, but after a little time, the failures began, and the dualogic is call "bomb", it's is very, very unreliable, and not smooth, the dualogic has vibration, shake and skating when change gears

E la fiat 500 di mia madre modello del 2011 da 95 CV diesel si sta facendo sempre più vecchia ha lo stesso motore quella macchina della lancia Ypsilon che aveva mia sorella grande modello del 2006 solo che la 500 è più piccola di una lancia y modello del 2006 e quindi col quel motore scappa di più col Multijet quando schiacci l'acceleratore

In the manual, it is written clearly how to start the engine, but not really how to actually start driving. I do get it into N Auto, but it does not start and just revs the engine . Am I missing something ? thanks
@@cogncierge8589 You have to press brake pedal while operating the gear leaver :) I guess that is the problem. Let me know :)

@@cogncierge8589 First, you need to press clutch/brakes when changing gears, also N Means Neutral, to start driving you need to be at 1st 2nd and etc..
Except if it is manual and auto at the same time I’m more old school and use manuals more instead

Actually they call it Torque Converter Automatic ( Not Classic ) . I Prefer a Torque Converter Automatic or a CVT .
I dont Really Trust in the Durability of DKG ( DSG , S-Tronic etc..... ) or these Automated Manual Transmissions .
Aisin is Very Good But i Like ZF or Getrag More !

I test one 500 with this transmission and find it difficult and not very reveiable, problem with the electronic shift...I see many suffer with this, problem to find back to "d" this fiat call " automat", and the gear must stay in 1- first gear to block 🚫 the wheels when parking....very diffrent from this normal automatic transmission...

@@Matthew-dd2gp Tento rok máme veľmi slnečnú a krásnu jeseň :) Tak krásnu jeseň bez blata som snáď ešte nezažil. V kanáli mám už jedno video Ford Ranger z lesnej cesty tak môžeš pozrieť. A ostatné veci sú rovnaké, veľa sa tu toho nezmenilo. D1 nie je stále dokončená, ale Bratislava už má novú autobusovú stanicu aspoň 😅

For common people it is the best choice in my opinion. Especially for not skilled drivers - when you change gear to D, car is holding position until you press throttle :)

@@raNo.7 well, it is slugish then. For example, when you release throttle little bit in higher rpm, it takes about 1,5 seconds until transmission realise, that it is time for upshift. Also gearing - if you are skilled you shift faster than this automatic transmission. If you are a calm driver, it works fine. If you drive more dynamic, it is slow. But I liked manual mode (upshifting down, downshifting up). I liked also the fact, that you can easily put transmission to neutral. Overall I was satisfied, my college disappointed. It depends on your driving technic. I recommend to try it at your local dealer, if it is possible :)
@@LatecoBraxatoris you're right i like to drive more dynamic and change gears really fast on a manual , but since this car is 1.2 (city car) i wont be driving it aggresively so probably its fine to drive it slow on the city
It is perfect for women who are not petrolheads and don't need fast and furious driving style. Shopping, going to work and other everyday stuff...probably the best choice on the market
