[International Couple] [SUB KOR, ENG] VLOG #12 - Trip to Ganghwado / Sara & Kangsan

Hello everyone! this time we spend some time in Seoul before going to visit Ganghwado island, at the north-west of South Korean Republic. We discover something new about this culture and have the opportunity to have a little taste of its history.
Notes:
Kangsan in the video says that you can buy a dish of Sundae for less than an euro, but he's slightly wrong: its price is around one or two euros.
The temple visited by Kangsan and his father-in-law is Bomunsa, not Jeondeungsa.
Joyang Bangjik factory was first opened in 1933 and reached its peak of activity and fame in the 50s. In the decads after it declined being the cotton outmarketed by nylon and other synth fabrics and eventually shut down, becoming a museum. In 2017 an entrepreneur started in that place the coffee shop you can see in the video.

Ciao a tutti! In questa puntata passiamo ancora un po' di tempo a Seoul prima di andare a visitare l'isola di Ganghwado, all'estremo nord-ovest della Repubblica di Corea. Oltre a scoprire nuove curiosità di questa cultura, abbiamo modo anche di fare un piccolo tuffo nella storia della Corea. Ma è solo un assaggio!
Piccoli approfondimenti e correzioni:
Kangsan nel video dice che un piatto di Sundae può essere acquistato per meno di un euro, ma non è corretto. Il prezzo di un piatto di Sundae è variabile ma di solito si aggira fra uno e due euro, al cambio corrente.
Il tempio visitato da Kangsan e suo suocero è Bomunsa, non Jeondeungsa.
La fabbrica Joyang Bangjik è stata aperta del 1933, ma ha raggiunto il momento di maggiore attività/fama negli anni '50. Nei decenni a seguire ha subito un graduale declino a causa dell'entrata sul mercato delle fibre sintetiche e quando ha chiuso è divenuta un museo. Nel 2017 un imprenditore ha aperto la caffetteria che si vede nel video.
