I got off virtuosa 2 days ago after a 12 night canary island cruise. Have to say the best ship & holiday I have been on yet. The ship is on another level compared to any other. Big shoutout to the cruise staff also who were out of this world. Big shoutout to dipuo, zwar and camila you were all great. Would defo go again.
Thank you for the great vlogs… as a first time cruiser on Virtuosa next week for our honeymoon they have been the best most informative videos we’ve watched.. hopefully we will see the review before we go too as they’ve definitely built up our excitement to go.. Happy travels 😁
Thank you so much we really appreciate it. Hope you have an amazing time on the ship and not only your first cruise but your honeymoon as well 😍. The review video should be out next week at some point but any other questions about anything before you go just ask us we'll try our best to help 😀
Enjoyed all the info you pass along, Kev and Stacey. Love reading all the other comments from people who feel the same way and have either been on cruises or are going on one or two soon. We enjoy reading how folks think your video's are the most informative! You've found your niche! We've watched both cruise series in full and loved them. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to next! Thanks for bringing us along.
Thanks Dave and Kathy haha seems that way. When we make it over to the states again at some point there are options to do a short crusie over there. Getting the best of both worlds then 😁. Thanks so much for watching as always, hope you are both good
Really enjoyed your cruise vlogs. We were on Iona in March & due to go on Virtuosa in 2 weeks time. We are also from Newcastle Staffordshire. Look forward to your next adventure. X
Thanks guys for another great video. Found them to be so helpful. Great to hear a local (ish) voice instead of all the American ones of other ships 👍 we are sailing on her next year and so looking forward to it.
Thanks 4 the vid we had the same balcony room as you, I thought the virtuousa was absolutely amazing 🤩 beautiful n clean ship 🛳. I recommend the full drinks package if you drink the only down side was the food that wasn’t great 😌 it was edible but nothing to write home abt the buffet was basic. Our cruise was nov 22 we are booking again in apr 2023. Like the comment below staff were fantastic everyone! 1st cruise n absolutely loved it. Your videos really helped top tip,tip the house keeping man n he won’t kick u out the room at 8am on disembarkation day we relaxed until 9.30am
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed the ship. We preferred the buffet this time and definitely thought the main dining room was better at lunch than dinner. We normally tip the cabin guy but never thought of asking to stay in the cabin longer, to be fair we don't mind leaving it early as we spend the few hours eating breakfast before we get off lol. That's it you've got the bug now!! we said we were only trying 1 Then ended up doing more
Enjoyed watching this set of vids from the Virtuosa, almost as sad as you Guys that they have come to an end. My turn next ... Oct 1 and I will be following in your footsteps. Can't wait. Looking forward to your next set of vids. 👍
Just off Virtuosa this morning, we did self disembark. We got off at 6am and were driving home by 6.15. Thanks for all your vlogs, we picked up several things that made the whole experience better.
@@OneCouplesAdventure Yes we would, but on a proper 7 night cruise, not another 2 night. This did the job of making sure we knew what to expect but too much of a "Booze cruise". Bring on Iona next year for our honeymoon.
Thanks for video. We are on Virtuosa in October. Cruise number 16. So glad you found the ship great. Suggest you try Caribbean, again can be great value for money.
Hi thanks so much Simon and wow cruise number 16! Hope you have a good time. We have got more things booked but would definitely like to try a Caribbean cruise in the future. We have been watching other vlogs on them and they look right up our street 😁
Just got off virtuosa last week, slightly different for us with so many kids (school hols) and ship nearly at capacity but still wonderful. watched all your videos and asked questions prior to the cruise (thanks for the answers) found your content a massive help and you are a lovely couple! subscribed and thanks again 😊
Thank you. Ye we have been looking at doing orlando for 7 nights then a 7 night cruise. But the exchange rate is terrible atm so thats casting a shadow on going back usa anytime soon
Thanks for the vids fellow Stokies! We were booked on the Grandiosa for next July but this has just been swapped to the Virtuosa… so your vids have been very helpful.
@@OneCouplesAdventure thanks… we are going form2 weeks… can you tell us the general consensus on dress code for elegant night? Is it tuxedo etc or are people a bit more casual? Just thinking of packing all that gear with so little wardrobe space lol
Looks like you had a wonderful time - thanks for taking us with you! We keep looking - but if you Ever see such a great deal again please LET ME KNOW!!! Cheers!
We were on the Virtuosa on 30th July to 13th August, loved the ship and found the disembarkation process the easiest of all the cruises we have done since 2010. We were also up to full capacity
@@OneCouplesAdventure we found the first couple of nights when dining in the Minuetta restaurant the service was very slow. Waited an hour from ordering our starters for them to arrive. The waiter was doing the drinks order, your bread and food order but working quite a few tables. Things did improve though We did hear that 500 of the crew were redeployed to a sister ship due to staff falling sick with covid, not sure if.that was true or not. We did have to adjust viewing the shows on some occasions due to them saying theatre was full.
Thanks for the vid guys. We usually cruise with P&O and Cunard. Never really thought about MSC but the ship looks 👍 going on Iona in October and am thinking 🤔 of trying Vurtuosa in the spring.
Another great vlog although sad that you’re leaving. I just cancelled another vacation myself but put in for one in December. It’s to Orlando where my son works at Universal and I want to see their Christmas decorations and parade. I don’t need a hotel as he has a house there. Maybe a cruise next year.
Arrrr how lovely to go see your son, so cool he works at universal! 😁 Will be so pretty with all the Christmas decorations up , great time to go 😍 thanks so much for watching as always
Hi there another amazing video from you both like I said I’ve never been on a cruise but I do want to get on one what cruise would you recommend would be the best to go on for the first time but another fantastic video
As you said, the hassle of airports, lack of staff, crazy, although necessary security, etc. and that made Me think, next month (September) there's family coming from Switzerland, I will pick them up at Gatwick, and now apart from the not to cheap parking, all the airports are going made on "meet and greet" highway robbery charges, as if losing your luggage, cancelling your flight, holding you for hours at the border etc. wasn't bad enough.
Thinking to go the Southampton,Hamburg,Zeebrugge,Rotterdam,Le Havre,Southampton cruise in February... whats the chances of rough sea's 🤢 on such a big vessel?
@@OneCouplesAdventure I have done 4 cruises previously with p&o on Britannia and Iona , I was under the impression that it was a step up from p&o, food was amazing , big fan of the international cafe, staff amazing, beds amazing, but downsides, I felt it was overcrowded, it was sometimes impossible to get a seat in places if you didn't turn up early. I personally felt the entertainment on board was poor, there seemed to be too many quizzes. Then we have the medallion app which was terrible/useless, the internet was shocking. The holiday was great though I enjoyed it and we are back on her again next August around the med this time. I think you have sold us on msc virtuoso. But that won't be till 20224, as we have Carribbean at Xmas on Britannia and away on Iona in Feb and sky princess in August.
@@OneCouplesAdventure have been on Sky Princess twice. Beautiful ship. Well worth it. You have to go a long way to top Princess generally. Going on P&O for the first time 3 weeks today. They have a lot to live up to 🤩
Was it busy because it was the summer holidays? Did there seem many kids on board? You have got a bit of room between feb and August fit in a quick trip on Virtuosa 😆
We got the fit to fly antigen test from randox. We get the click and collect from a local shop and just do it the night before. I have just ordered some from next week and they are £11 each
Where is the cruise going? We didnt have to and i spoke to msc today about our cruise from barcelona and they said it can just be the normal antigen so long as i get a certificate. Maybe give them a call tomorrow and double check
