The use of 2 or more LFO's for the movement of your sound is the major component in riddim basses. You want one to be modulating your intensity (volume/mix levels) and one to be doing the mouthing (WTPOS, BandNotch) add effects that make you feel good. I like phasers, delay, and flangers.
Me: An architecture student with zero sound design experience suddenly getting the midnight urge to start learning to create trench music I’m glad I could get my start here. I’ve always loved edm particularly tht infekt, Akeos sorta style and am gonna start making it myself. Man, your videos are insane, the sound design is incredible! A dark heavy techno track from you would be insane, one of my favourite genres made by one of my favourite producers 🏴🤘
Tip: don't layer it with a snare if its got low-end transients, they tend to cancel out kick low end, his snares are mainly high end but there is a reason why you should use claps. Claps are more high-mid then you ad a kick it fills in that little gap of missing low end so they work together perfectly. So stick to claps...please.
This tutorial was really helpful for me^^ Used this style in my latest track (2nd Drop) :). Sounds really sick and I do understand more from Serum now^^
Yo man just found your channel when I got into production a few weeks ago, great videos they really keep me excited to get back into fl and make tracks. Keep it up
Serum isn't a new plugin. And it is used by all Dubstep and riddim producers. Either this video is an old recording, or this video was made by Mayflower from past.
i do get it when you said that its all about making it quick im not a good music maker at all but when i have an idea beacuse my lack of knowing the fl12 controls i never finish any track.
i need to start using serum been making riddim for a few years not gonna lie this slaps just trying to figure out the mastering part of my tracks so they sound clear
hey man, how about a said the sky - ish tutorial? I've never known how is his music even made and I'm in love with it so yeah I think that'd be cool. have a good day!
MayFlwr makes rawstyle like Sub Zero Project, D-Sturb & Malice, and Ran-D the tutorial. Something totally out of your element where you listen to some songs in that genre and then try to make your own.
Can you make game musics? You know, the sound you made is real time disco music . But I have seen some low quality sound that was inserted in a specific game time condition, and that low effect sound along with game experience timeline makes you high and up like disco music.
you're so cute! I'm tryna teach myself how to make riddim + house, so I appreciate you taking the time to show us how to slang some beats! this track bangs! 🔥

The sarcasm is strong in this one.
his next words are literally 'hah im just joking' ;P
I had to check in what year this was made.
You know a producer is making good riddim when they say "I really like that high end resonance sound, its kind of hurting my ears right now."
When you play a note on Serum and your PC almost had a heart attack, I FELT THAT
sick track boi
Haha it's real out here...and thanks man!

"This new plugin, it's called 'Serum'" - I checked the date you posted this and then loled hard.
I did the same😂

Can we get a tutorial on Riddim sound design? I'm hopeless at it lmao and I really want to make some Riddim type stuff.

Don’t forget to ALWAYS experiment when it comes to sound design. It’s how most people learn sound design and it gives you a really unique sound.
Haa Dee yeah just buy the whole track bro. Zero work max result!!

i’m not trying to be a dick but you do know that you can just eq the low end of the snare to help fix it from clashing with the kick

mad respect dude you are a great producer.
RIDDIM is such a weird genre, it's like offbeat, but onbeat. Honestly sounds crazzyyyyy.
Dubstep, UK Garage and Dub/Reggae based genre. Both of those have quite strange rhythms for a lot of ppl.
