I like to "watch" full movies as I do other things. Play games, work on homework, research stuff, anything. It helps me focus on what I'm doing but I can also pay attention to what's in the video when it gets interesting. The longer, the better.
This is literally me lol i personally prefer lokg form Minecraft survival series or episodes even it makes it so whatever other tasks that I need to do just fly bye (good ole adhd 😂)
one thing i love about you is that you dont exploit the fact that youre a dad, a lot of gaming youtubers make their channels all about their kids once they have them and it kinda feels icky but you dont do that, you dont show your kids unless they happen to come up while youre using facecam and even then you dont make a big deal out of it, massive respect for that

Just watched a whole video and I gotta say that this is probably the best minecraft hardcore "movie" I've ever seen. The story and the editing is just perfect! Thank you for that!
It doesn't take as long as you may think, I'm working on my first 100 days now, and the longest part, aside from playing, is scripting and recording the voiceovers. Scrubbing through the recordings for the good parts is kind of like scrolling through a movie you've already seen looking for a part you remember, it may take a couple minutes but its not like you have to watch the whole movie again. For 1000 days, most creators basically just slap all their 100 days episodes together and add a little bit of voice over here and there, and it looks like legundo does too. If you've already watched episodes 1-10 then there is rarely any new content. The real time suck of creating these videos is taking the time to play for 1000 days.
I love compilations like this. it makes it easier to build along side yall, do homework, and some other stuff. Having episodic stuff is fun and i love it too but it’s the compilations for meee. the longer the better.

I often listen to these videos because I know what Minecraft looks like, so I can put it on while I do other tasks. In fact, I was practicing cello while listening to this video. I find that having a soundtrack, even with music conflicting with my own practicing, sometimes sharpens my focus when I'm having a bad ADHD day and can't settle to my work.
I really enjoyed the episodes for this series, but thank you for also turning it into a big video! Getting to recall all the events along with you was so nice!
I just wanna say, over the past few years, I’ve watched a lot of Minecraft content, and this channel is undeniably the best one. From the amount of amazing content in your channel i always have something to watch if I feel like watching modded Minecraft, or even normal Minecraft. Even if the video is normal Minecraft there is always a creative challenge that I actually am interested in watching. This channel has completely changed my outlook on Minecraft as a whole, and all the different ways to play it.
i like episodic stuff because its easier to follow along when you start from the beginning, and gives some understanding about things that wouldn't be given context otherwise
I love to watch these long videos so I don’t have to keep clicking and picking new videos when I’m just laying in bed cuddling my cat and working on my book! It’s nice to just listen and enjoy
I don’t like episodic stuff because I never have the time to watch stuff weekly!! So I prefer playlists or hours long episodes because I can watch at my own pace with no pressure to catch up. There are very few shows, videos, series and channels I watch week to week because its a lot of time to commit that I don’t always have. I’m very late to finishing this video but I enjoyed it!! :)

I like these full movies but I also watch all your episodes too. Trying to get through all your multiverse videos as well. I'm less interested in these timed challenges. There's nothing wrong with them inherently, I just want to see what can be done when you take your time. If I wanted a speedrun I'd watch those. I love the creativity more than challenges.

at 2 hours 12 min in; i usually prefer to jump into new series with movie length stuff so that i can catch up all at once; as even if episodic may be more satisfying if i have been watching from the beginning; if i jump in halfway it can be hard to tell what videos to and not to watch to get caught up (for example; i found your channel last spring and had not really known where to catch up to date on your singleplayer; but after this video i will be watching them all since im now caught up :D )

That used to be fine because the follow ups would always pop up in my recommended but that just isn't a thing anymore. So what usually happens now is I get the long form recommended and if I like it I look for if there's a playlist, if there isn't I move on bc making the que on my own takes too much time when I'm just looking for a piece of background noise I like to admire while working. I'm a big live stream wacher, but when it's hardcore worlds or something that're a few years in the amount to catch up on is overwhelming so bitesized movies are sooooo nice

I guess the problem with the moss farm is due to Chunk unloading. I've had the same problem with my bonemeal farm I had which used moss. Every time I left the chunks surrounding it, the stone got replaced with cobblestone and it broke. Maybe when you put a chunkloader next to it it would help the farm not to break. Hope this helps :)
I like episodic content, because watching things grow, and people taking time to do things means the builds and the stuff that people make looks great, but i also don't like episodic content because getting into something that already has a lot of episodes can be kind of difficult. And I enjoy the full movie content because it allows me to catch up in less time, gives a nice recap and a good taste of the vibe that the world has, and lets me know if I want to actually watch the full videos or not.
For me, I like episodic things when its like, relatively soon that the videos will be coming out. I like long format, like movies, when theres LONG stents between episodes.

I like episodic stuff fine enough, however, I don’t like to like to stop mid something, so I only really like to consume it over one or a few sittings through some days. Additionally if I have to wait weeks or months between episodes, I will most likely forget what happened before or even that I watched it in the past and then not follow up. There is SO much content to consume, I like to keep the start and the stop in a fairly short time period. It also means that I will often times not begin something before it has been ended, be that video series, shows, book series or even fanfic.
