      They are nice units! If we were not in a drought I am pretty sure this unit would have sold this summer. Unfortunately it looks like its headed for the parts department if there isn't a buyer in the next month or so.

    Gotta ask, bc I’m kinda wanting one… Why do you turn the deck off at the end of every turn?

    • @thenorthernhillbilly
      @thenorthernhillbilly 2 месяца назад

      I have the same mower and deck, these decks have a gear box on top. If you lift it too much it will deprive the gears of oil and start welding them together. No bueno! you can make turns without lifting but the rollers on the bottom will destabilize the deck and your gonna skin on turns.

    On your F935 what rpm your blades spin at full throttle

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  3 года назад +1

      I am not sure on blade RPM. I’d have to dig a little on the gear box etc to figure that out.

    How do you think it would cut on hills I’m looking at picking one up

    • @mmrbeef
      @mmrbeef  3 года назад

      Properly weighted they do fine on hills unless the grass is wet. However, if I had my choice I would run a F1145 or a newer 1400/1500 series that was 4wd over an F935 on hills. Not that the 2wd F series isn't capable, but once you have 4wd you wonder how you lived without it!

    These have to be some of the worst mowers ever built! However, once repaired, modified, and improved these are some of the best mowers of all time. I'll probably never sell my f930 with Onan twin, I love it. But it does take some doing. The good thing is they're usually pretty cheap to buy used. Good luck 🤞

    • @mhess427
      @mhess427 Год назад

      Why are they so bad? I'm curious because I've seen some for sale on marketplace pretty cheap

    • @tcmits3699
      @tcmits3699 Год назад

      @@mhess427 All I meant to get across, is if you don't have an access to a welder and machinist services, which I personally do myself. These mowers can get very costly very fast. Quality isn't that good, but the basic design is very well thought out. If you fall into this category of ownership, and you can find a low priced unit . Go for it! Good luck
