A quickplay spell or a continous spell (continous would be stronger) where you can destroy a duston card on the field and then get a generic effect, either return a card to the hand, negate a monster effect for a turn. And make it a once per turn… would make this like a decent link based deck engine and the destroy the ones they control to get the extra negative effects to hurt them on top of it… thatd be really good
As much as I Iove dustons and used to play them often and still try to with friends, it relies on your opponent going first and ending their turn with only one monster (maybe possibly 2) on the field, and barely any backrow, which these days is less common. They need a way to trigger House Duston on the first turn.
Hi there great Video, I once was suggested a tech in Dustons that I think it could be very funny so hear me out, What if Dustons had a Towers monster? Which one? The Arrival Cyberse @Ignister.
Nah… because it can still be on paper a decent way for your own deck to link. I think maybe a continous spell or something where when a duston is destroyed you get a benefit… whether it be a pop or even a destroy a duston on the field to negate an effect, thatd be interesting if it also said “on the field” because you could pop the negative ones you gave the opponent, negate and effect and have their duston effect hurt them as well. And its not like this would be some crazy game breaking strategy because they are still just a level 1 card with no attack and youd have to run like 10 cards to even make it playable so its not an easy to throw in engine for omni negates.
Wouldn't Opti-Camouflage Armor be kind of awesome in here? That would let your Starduston attack directly without you having to free the opponent from the restrictions of the other Dustons that you give them. That also keeps Star from blowing up itself because they keep all their monsters on the field, and what's more, Armor lets Goblin King just one-shot the opponent with the right setup. This is kind of like a Skull Servant deck in that regard: You can do a lot of your attacking with just one or two of your main deck monsters, and they're all going to be huge and Level 1. You might as well just bypass whatever the opponent has.
When Dustons were first revealed, they kind of reminded me of Ojamas in a weird way.

I think that they should reprint Dustons and give them the effect that they "cannot be used as link material" to adapt them to modern YuGiOh
Agreed
You wouldn't really have much to use on your end of the field either, that way.
I don't think they need reprint they need new duston support that has the effects for cannot be use as link
@@RAY19740 I mean, starduston does lock your opponent out of special summons entirely
