It’s amazing how many people put up with a spouse that doesn’t let them do the things they want to do. When I bought my vette my wife was with me and 3 or 4 sales guys kept telling her how cool she was for not getting in the way. After the 3rd guy she turned to me and asked me what the deal was, and I had to explain to her how most women have a real problem with guys and cars.
FakeZ06Sean my wife and I are the opposite in a good way. If I want a big ticket item to buy I’m usually looking and researching for months and them seem to talk my self out of it. Vehicle Virals Because using your money for her enjoyment is greater for her than you enjoying a smoke of 98 Octane from a nice car, never let a female decide what to do with ya money, you’re the Man and the one who decide.
I've found out that a lot of people see sports cars and exotic cars as a waste of money. My ex-boyfriend did everything he could to get me to get rid of my Corvette. I told him that a 1974 Corvette has always been my dream car and at first, he was fine with it until I got a bigger cam and started looking at turbochargers. That's when he demanded that I get rid of it and get something 'normal and fun' like a Ford Focus. After a good 3 months of arguing about the car I paid for with my own money, he basically told me that I wasn't being fair to him even though I had put the car on hiatus to be with him. After about another month I decided to start working on it again. He told me 'you're cheating on me with that worthless chunk of fiberglass' and threatened to leave me. Little did I know, he was the one cheating with my 'best friend'. After that, I ended the relationship and about three or four months later I met an amazing guy that not only loved my car just as much as me but also wanted to help get it done any way he could. He and I did get into debates about muscle cars vs tuners, but we loved cars and each other so much that it never turned into arguments about which is better. At the end of the day, being covered in grease, racing and working on our cars brought he and I together. Sadly, he passed away due to complications with his aortic valve. I've decided that any money I make from racing I will donate half to heart disease research.
damn that poor corvette guy. I feel like if you have to hide your passion and hobby from your SO, marrying them was maybe a bit of a mistake. Yeah but this is the wife of a man who doesn't know and apparently continues to not know he's bought stock piles of exotic cars and stashed them around the city. If she's too thick to figure out how to log into their banking app, she obviously can't get the correct information to the PI so he can track the Tesla.
When you have "Multiple locations stashed with exotic cars" to the point where you can't even remember which cars you own and where then I think a regular banking app really isn't going to show his finances. No doubt he has multiple bank accounts and tons of escrow / investment / loan accounts all over the place where he could easily shuffle around the funds and she would have no idea of the overall financial picture.

I'm an audiophile. And during my 'addiction' developing and all these upgrades, I never hid anything from any girlfriend I had. I have pictures of girls hugging big speakers, laying on a bed between a shitload of vintage reel to reel machines and dancing in front of my big record cabinet. If you can't be bothered to understand and share the love for each other's interests, or at least respect and accept it, you probably shouldn't be together in the first place. That said, being amongst audiophiles a lot I hear them nag about 'women' frequently. I always counter those remarks. It's horrible and disrespectful. Built a new bike in the winter of 2016 and summer came around I was always gone on it just enjoying it. At the end of summer she said I’ve got something to tell you, I linked your iPhone with mine because you were gone so much I thought you were cheating on me. She then apologized.
Great video as usual.
I hate those enviromentalist who hate "gas guzzling" cars but are ok with electric cars. Do they not know how bad for the environment the production of batteries is?
You just know she is the biggest left wing hypocrite. How big do you think their house is and how much electricity do you think that uses? And how much do you want to be she had no problem flying to europe etc
Charlie Vetsworth still,I can go where I want with a gas car ,and fill up in less than 5mina
Charlie Vetsworth batteries last 8 years
Or 6 -8 in early prius And then they are just thrown in africa
And its dangerous Acid nothing more
Also they have a lot of electicity shit inside And they are made all around the world so shipping Which destroys a lot of water life, check it out, just to ship parts And then cars
Yeah, huge difference
This is 100% correct
building a car battery produces the same amount of emissions as a car that has been driven for around 200.000km. euro 6 diesel.
Honest to goodness, your stories are incredibly fun and funny!
Shrewdest storyteller in existence
Why doesn’t Ed have a tv show yet. I smoke a joint and just listen to this guy awesome
From what I've gathered. They either tell everything or tell nothing.
Generally true.
Great stories well told :)
Pressed play, heard Ed, stayed.
That’s my old Scud at 2:23. A car show day organized by Atique! Fun times.
Brilliant strategy, just need to pick a color (orange) and stick with it. No-one will ever know :)
You know the guy probably admitted to cheating and they went to counseling. 😂 all in order to keep his cars. Worth it.
That cover shot was so pretty, I would have watched whatever it is regardless of title.
Usually I don't care about the subject of the video but I still watch these because i'm obsessed with his commentary
damn, when will women EVER LEARN, that anal is less than driving a 6speed v10/v12 at night!? genuine response!
LOL "well maybe u just got taller" LMAO
Been to long! Ahh the relapse of words of sense from the most reasonable person of youtube
Lmao I love it!! You’re first story is absolutely hilarious
If my wife told me I got a private detective and I make the money, she’d be out the door so quick.
I seriously enjoy these videos.
Doesn't that make the wife sound a little crazy, that she had to hire a private detective to see if he was cheating on her?
And a very shitty detective at that, guy doesn't even know how to use tape.
That was hilarious. Keep up the good work Ed. Thank God my wife willingly accepts and encourages this crazy/expensive hobby of ours.
My favorite Shrewd negotiator
He’s always been my favorite on this channel
Well honey it's either you're hiding a Ferrari or another woman, both of which are expensive to maintain.
My wife and I both love cars, we go to car shows together admire them and both have our dream car and dream car build.
Where is randy pobst?
Out racing. I talked to him yesterday and he will be back here soon.
I heard that his wife found out about his hidden cars and banned him from appearing here again...
VINwiki dope
I love this video. I keep coming back to it haha
A wise man once told me that 'street racers don't need girlfriends'.
Professional Manlet I'll bet he also drove an AE85 Trueno.
Imagine the relief his wife his when she found out homeboy just wanted to go fast
I haven’t laughed like that in a long time!
Ed always has the best stories
Ed seems like everything a woman would want tall, funny, successful, deep voice. So I was expecting him to have a trophy wife. While she is very good looking nice to see somone with not the stereotypical trophy wife.
Great vid edman
Or find a woman who is not a trophy wife and who understands what you do.
trophy wives love luxury / sports cars. I think you are way off on your target demo here
He is by far the best story teller.
Did you use a new camera for this vid? Looks like a full frame canon camera :p
Still the same Sony A6500. Interestingly it seems like there is some variation as to the highest quality RUclips allows now.
Bottomline; I very much approve of the way you handled it.
