T2 cable operator offers 2 programs in 4k. If you already went down the Philips line you should invest in Hue light system by Philips (butik svetil ali mimo vrste) you can incorporate/synchronize the bulbs with TV and also buy Logitech Harmony (majdic.at) and say goodbye to remotes&toss the tv box somewhere out of the view😉
Those 2 4K programmes are not the ones I want to watch :) But the idea about Logitech Harmony remote is not bad at all….

Are you still happy with your purchase? Any problems? Can I watch a couple hours of regular tv with static channel logos without worrying about burn in? I can get the Philips 55 706 for 1000 USD, should I get it, wait for next year evo panels or get the LG B1 for 100 USD more? Or Sony A80j for 400 USD more?

Hi Roman , only problem with this TV it has only 50 Hz screen refreshing rate . God picture quality but very laggy . Cheers
It is 100 hz panel toengel.net/philipsblog/2018/01/25/philips-2018-der-55oled803-und-65oled803-oled-ultra-hd-tv-mit-android-tv/ but thanks to P5 processor the input lag is 38 ms. It will be 20 ms in the new 804 and 854 TV sets.
@@RomanVerhovsek Hey , yes it's 100hz (native) it's mens 50 Hz . Install Aida 64 in your TV you will see . You can download Aida 64 on Google play store . It's a system app that talks about exactly what this TV have . Cheers
@@franjevacstojan7366 Aida64 states also it is an HD TV with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is incorrect as this TV is 4K. I believe Aida64 (android version) is not yet a reliable app. Have you checked Aida64 with other TV brands? Thank you.

That is why I suspect that they are hiding information on how many Hertz this TV have ! My TV picture is very laggy specially with fotboll or fast movies . I decide to return my TV

Super ,dobr tv.Oled ;).
Philips je mel vedno dobro sliko.Bojim se le ,da jim elektronika v samih tvjih šepa.Upam ,da tele oledi bodo delovali brez napake vsaj 5 let.Sicer pa zato ceno definitivno nimam nic proti tem tv.Seveda LG ali philips v tem rangu zmagata.

Contrast is good. philips tvs show either a very dark picture or a very bright picture.there is not a balanced picture as compared to Sony,LG tvs.inner details in a bright scene is missing compared to other tv's.
I blame iPhone as video camera that automatically changes the brighness :(

I have had older philips 2014
7 series and i play mkv DTS perfect.On this tv i think is play mkv dts via usb. up to cca 100Mb /s
