@Debbie Weindler-Mahnke not tryna argue but, in my opinion david archuleta was and is my choice and I personally liked his style a bit more . Archuleta is just more of my style of music . Both are great but sorry I'm an Archie fan glad I voted for him but both are talented
You can see DC holding back a lot because this song was far more suited for his range and he could have easily blasted DA out. He's a good guy who wanted DA to shine too.
Looking back this was awkward because David Archuleta was a young 16 year old and David was in his mid-20s, if not late 20s. Archuleta has matured vocally, and so has his stage presence. But that Idol year belonged to Daved Cook even if he competed with someone his age.
He's simply not good enough. I mean come on. This match up between DC vs DA isnt a match up at all. First of all, DA is so overrated. This season was one of the greatest. A lot of great talents, and DA was only luck to be carried by his fans. Talwnt wise even jason castro would easily beat him.
This was the song for me that really showed how much better David Cook was then David Archaleta! Love them both, but they definitely got the winner right!
