Poet & Singer Kaleem Asar Sahab recollects his meeting the living legend Yusuf Khan Sahab (Dilip Kumar) at his aunt's place.

So much love for his idol Dilip Kumar Sahab, one of his die-hard fan known to me, Kaleem Asar Sahab also passed away on 11th July, 2021, within 4 days of Dilip Sahab who passed away on 7th July, 2021.
If you want to know what kind of a die-hard fan he was, just notice the stands of hair on Kaleem Sahab's forehead. Even at that age, must be 60+ that time, he was always particular to keep it that way in spite of a receding hairline. He spent hours talking about his idol since he was nephew of Nigaar Sultana who married K.Asif. Actually his mother's name was Nigaar Sultana who were three sisters. Since their career was not taking off, they decided to exchange names with each other and his Aunt who had taken his mother's name got fame.
There is a video of him talking about Dilip Sahab, do check it out in the comment. In fact because of that video did I come to know he passed away since his nephew commented on it. From Naved bhai, I came to know that his wife also passed away a week back.
After my parents, if there is one person who has taught me so much, just by the way he behaved, it is Kaleem Sahab. Such a soft spoken person, not a single bad word about anyone, always smiling, was a great fan of Kishoreda and loved singing his songs among friends. Not just me, whoever I introduced him to in my circle, they are all his fans, Abdul Ahad Khan Sahab, Prashant Bhai, Ahsan Bhai, Zubair Bhai, Adeep Tandon Sahab, Bhanwer Mali and many others.
Have spent hours and hours listening to him talk about various legends of Hindi Cinema that he used to meet and also legends of Urdu poetry since his father Asar Majeedi Sahab was a contemporary of many legendary poets though he didn't become famous like them.
Kaleem Sahab had lost his memory few years back and his family members had requested to not him as he got uncomfortable trying to recollect memories when he saw us.
