It could be that I liked the smoother fade-out transitions than the sharper cuts (correct me if I'm wrong, because I think there were more of the former last time), or it could be that I preferred the old style's "musical focus with sound effects in the back", or that I've listen to it so long that I've faded out its flaws from my head subconsciously. Don't get me wrong though, this new one is absolutely fantastic, especially with those new clips, which I think perfectly compliment how the song felt at that time, but there was just something about that old version that made me want to stick to it...

今のアニメ、絵はすごく綺麗やけど全然動かないから紙芝居過ぎる。。。
昔だって大抵の作品が紙芝居だったから問題無し
沖浦さんとか井上俊之とかそういう絵のうますぎるアニメーターが揃っている。
やっぱこの曲がエンディングでほんとよかった、第二小隊はやり遂げたんだなって気持ちにめっちゃなる

ついこの前、EZYの4分のパイロットフィルムを見たいがためにリバイバル上映見てきました。
劇場版3作の中で、1作目が1番好きです。
EZYが始まって、朝陽の中へが流れた瞬間に泣いた。そのまま本編もずっと泣きながら見てた。我ながら意味がわからん。

ロボットにWindowsやmacのようなOSの概念を導入したのはパトレイバーが最初じゃないかな？子供の頃に、そのリアルな設定がたまらなかった。それに昭和の街並みや特車二課の質素な建物やハンガー、コミカルだけど基本はしっかり公務員してるところも好きだった。
