Hi sir, well to be honest I’m not the best at explaining how to tune in this game but here’s a video I saw last week and it’s very helpful if you’re starting in this world of drag tuning ruclips.net/video/YYzQ4-0vmBQ/видео.htmlsi=VpIoGZM1OA5P_jGP Also I gotta add that drag races have variety, some people like tuning for mile strip, some others half of mile which is what I normally do 90% of the time and 1/4 is what the guy on the video does I think They’re all very similar way to race but the gear ratios changes obviously and some other little things so take your time and be patient.
Performance mode helps a little more with the speed traps on series s and x which the one s or one x doesn’t have, it does not affect the way of how your car pull or launches but it gives you a little extra of speed at the speed trap but nothing impressive, it will normally give between 1 mph and .3 or .4, sometimes more sometimes less depending on what car you use compared with the old generation
If you have a series s or x try turning on the performance mode and do some races then turn it off back again and pay attention how the speed trap will be a little lower even with the same tune because it’s 30fps vs 60 fps
