I only spotted this availability the other day, then forgot about it ~ so excellent tutorial and excellent reminder ~ I've recently started Timelapse using the DJI OM4 and my iPhone ..... thanks for sharing (I've subscribed & Liked just now 🤔)
Hi! Does Filmic Pro support tracking function for hyperlapse with DJI OM5?? I have OM5, its absolutely brilliant how tracking objects control stabilsier, but the app is very poor - hyperlaspe mode can use only one main camera and doesnt have WB lock either EXP lock.... I'm lokking for professinal app with those function but which can control tracking object! hopefully yours??
Thank you for all of the fine detailing and comparisons. This was shot 4 years ago, and the app has physically changed, but I still was able to achieve the same results. I am comparing sunset videos from the native app and Filmic Pro, so I can see what the differences are and use it accordingly.
Hi FiLMiC Pro, I am about to (attempt) to shoot a timelapse of a plant growing. I've heard shooting one frame each 10 minutes is most effective. Do you think I'll still get a good result with 1 frame every minute instead which is the slowest interval your app allows currently?
Thanks, was helpful since i use filmicPro app and have shot some beautiful shots from Paris. i didn't use ND filter and will use it now. Any Lenses that you recommend for iphone x.
Please, for fun, have this guy read a brochure, back of kid’s cereal box, or Chinese food menu for a full minute the same way he does these videos (show brochure or menu/box only with voice-over only). Just to prove I am correct: he makes all thing sound nice and interesting! #Winner #GoldenVoice #MakesAllThingsSoundNice
Wonderful video one question what if the clouds make the brightness fluctuate, is there a way to lock everything and keep iso on auto or am I getting confused with the process
I can't seem to get nice timelapses. I shoot at 4K_Filmic Extreme, Video Codec: AVC with a 10 seconds interval. When I upload the timelapse directly to RUclips it looks horrible. Any suggestions? I'm on OnePlus 6 running latest Android. *Edit. I see that my playback is set to 24fps. Should I set that to 60 fps to get those super smooth timelapses?
If I want to shoot a cinematic video 2b played later on RUclips (1080p), it is right to choose 4k 24 fps 5sec ? What are the downeffects if any or what other setting is advised 2b used ? Thanks and compliments for the channel ! :-)
How do I do a sunset with clouds looking towards the sun? I always get exposure flicker if I dont lock the exposure and if I do lock the exposure, it gets dark too fast and I miss the subtle colors as the sun gets lower. HALP! :)
Is it possible to change the frame rate after the fact. I recorded at 1 frame every 5 seconds but in playback (30frames/sec) the subjects moved too quickly.
Confused about when he did that crop zoom and then rendered at 1080p... can someone explain this? It went by too fast. If he added keyframe at the beginning and then zoomed in at the end wouldn't this be a slow zoom in? Also how does rendering at 1080p help?
I got the same issue, how to render at 1080p? I did not see the same interface as in the clip. I bought Filmic Pro, but not yet bought the log V2. Is that menu from the log V2?
I know I know your name... Re ND filter: I am struggling to justify getting the Moment case and anamorphic lens. They have an adapter to add filters. Wondering if I should get something cheaper to just get the ND ‘going’. How do you attach yours? Comment on my thinking?
Rick Sovitzky You may already know this, but the ND in this video and the anamorphic have two completely different purposes. I have the Zomei ND filter as the one in this video. Regarding time lapse, that’s all you need. $17. I do not have an anamorphic yet, but there are ND filters made for the major ones (Moondog, Moment). Not sure about Sirui. So, seems your resulting issue may be a budget issue of whether to spend $17 or $150+ for a system. Best part about this video is that you can shoot in 4K with ability to crop and rescale to ‘look’ wider-similar to that of a super-wide or anamorphic. Hope that helps.
Since its a PRO app I would love to be able to shoot RAW frames even if I have to edit them on a separate device. Any suggestions for RAW timelapses app ?
I'm using the LG V30+ phone and Filmic Pro doesn't show the exposure circle, only the large exposure rectangle. Double tapping it doesn't turn it into the circle.
EXCELLENT tutorial. I've had FilMic pro for quite a while and it never occurred to me to use it for a timelapse videos. Thanks for sharing!
I didn't know that Filmic Pro could do timelapses, this is great information. And a wonderful tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure Ron. Glad it introduced you to a new feature of the app.
You’ve definitely got a knack for this...
Thanks Rick 😎
The most amazing explanation
The most powerful app 👍

Excellent guide. Doesn’t save huge files, D-log, locking features, and LumaFusion settings, LUTs make this process perfect.
Love they motion time lapse trick with Luma! I did learn something new!!
Fantastic! 🎉
WOW 🤩 Awesome tutorial! Thanks for all the tips and especially the step by step shooting and editing walk through. 👍
Thanks David. Glad it helped.

Easy to understand, Thank you for the video!
Thanks ... excited to try this with my Moment anamorphic lens!
Is it possible to create a moving timelapse using a gimbal (DJI Osmo Mobile)?

It would be great great if you posted the links for the ND filter
Hi team
I am after a line lapse that will take a day or two
With longer intervals… like a shoot per 15’
Is this an option?
Thank you
Very cool !
Wow 😲! That was super neat. Thanks!!!
Thanks Jarrad.
Great tutorial..❤️ TQ
Thanks so much. Glad it helped.
Can you control and monitor time-lapse from the remote app?
This was really helpful, I need to get an ND filter asap. Quick question, when doing a sunrise or sunset timelapse, should I lock exposure and focus?

Thanks! I look forward to using this feature.
Our pleasure. We'd love to see anything you create with the app. You can tag us with @filmicpro at twitter. Happy filming.
@@Filmicpro Ok I will make sure to do that. I just finished a new short film too.

Hello. Tell me, is it possible to get photo files or just time-lapse video?
Thank you so much 😊 crystal clear tutorial🙏
Glad it was helpful.

Any recommendations on iphone ND filters? Seems reviews range wildly!
Whats the difference between timelapse and speed up in post?

hi, can you also choose exposure time for timelapse? thx
Yes you get full control over manual exposure for Timelapse, in the same way you do for regular video.
The number of shots is also set or do you stop it manually?
What is the name of the variable ND filter, you were using in this video? Thank You.
Do i have to set exposure and white balance when i want a timelapse of a sunrise or a sunset?
Please add the feature to use slower shutter speed than 1/24 for timelapse.
Thanks for the feedback Atif.
can you tell me which app are you using for editing video ? its looks good and more professional
LumaFusion for iOS 👍
@@Filmicpro is it also for android ? i have galaxy note 9 and im planning buy note 10
@@ShotInTheDark thanks but i have galaxy note 9 (android) can you reccomend me some app? im using cyber power director
@@ShotInTheDark As long as you're limited to editing in your iPhone, which is very tedious in comparison to doing it on a lap or desktop.
Thank you so much...Finally got it...But also want to know how to shoot Hyperlapse,Motion Lapse from filmic pro app in iphone xs max .....??
Sounds like a great idea for another tutorial 😎
@@Filmicpro yes..We really needed...All motions ..Waiting for those tutorials ....if provided..Really helped....😊😊😍😍

Filmic pro not support 60fps in Samsung.why is it?
I want to see the timer as well in output video. Which is missing ☹️
🤯
What about sunset or sunrise?

How can i do a timelapse with motion blur ?

Unfortunately LG do not support this feature.
This app is support on iphone 6?
Any device that can run iOS 12 🙂👍
Thanks.
Can you add 1-10 second shutter speed so we can get long exposures timelapeses, motion blur and light trails 👌🏻👌🏻
Sure, if you set a slower shutter speed. The Moment app has a slow shutter speed preset, but I'm not sure how that would work with a time lapse.
What’s the name of the Variable ND Filter you use in the tutorial?
I believe it's the Zomei 37mm Clip On. See it at Amazon!
Did you see that?! 2:05 UFO in the sky 😱
Misleading - no android!!
