here is a crazy story. back in 1997 i owned a house that was five bedroom three bathroom. i was recently divorced and had 50% custody of my two little under five girls. had this huge place with two extra bedrooms in it. i friend of mine told me about another divorced man with a teenage daughter who had just lost their home to a fire and were looking for a place to stay while the insurance company rebuilt their home. make a long story short they move in and a week later i found out he had done time for child molestation. I walked right into the bedroom he was in and confronted him. told him he had ten minutes to get out or he was going out on a stretcher. i had a pow pow pointing at his head. He didnt argue. He put his stuff on the curb and had the balls to call the cops. When the cops showed up i told them about his background and that i had 2 under five daughters. They told him it was a he said he said thing and to kick rocks. I didnt have internet back then. it was just starting to kick in with computers at the house. IF YOU HAVE KIDs you do what you have to do to protect them PERIOD.

I worked with a guy who was kool to work with, we got a long and would hang out during lunch break but one day he stopped showing up to work and come to find out he got arrested for sexual assaulting a young teen he raised since she was a baby and the father of the daughter found out what he did and wanted to kill him but instead called the cops and got him sent to prison. The way we found out was through our foreman who was shocked and we all got that sickening feeling of “dam I was working side by side with a chomo” now he’s in prison
