Nice to see the direction we're going before taking off. Nice walking tour. Nice motorcycles. A good t-bone sounds good. Nice shops and night clubs along the walk. Nice looking food👍👍61
This is such a nice and very amazing walking tour, beautiful City scenery. Great sharing again my friend. Greetings here in Manila Philippines once again. Keep up the good work. Have a wonderful time and be safe always. L46 (16:05)
4:32 There's a big fan on the ceiling of the building's arcade! I think it would be very cool to walk here!!! ^^ And I’m really curious about what coconut latte tastes like!
Hi Simple haha easy to go I am not local and not familiar with this location at all If you have simple map, it may be helpful to learn comparison between options. This city is the middle size? I don't see land scrapers but modern-ish building. suburbs? There are some neat shops around. I like support local small businesses wherever I visit. Well done As always, professional filming is appreciated. Now I will drive you in the sea stay tuned for my upcoming
with the new MRT, the entire landscape is so different now! 10:43 shop is so antique! 20:45 house is so antique. Yes tea break indeed pricey.... need more viewship to breakeven ... hahaha
this video brings me back to my last Saturday's walk along Joo Chiat Road from the colourful Peranakan Houses at Koon Seng Road to the Conserved Terrace Houses next to East Coast Road, further down from the Joo Chiat Road junction outside the i12 Katong mall. of course, I got to see several colourful murals including the Singapore version of the Tom and Jerry cartoon and a shop selling the rattan furniture. there are also several cafes along the road including a hidden one close to the Peranakan Houses where many tourists buy their coffee drinks. you can do another video along Ceylon Road from the Marine Parade MRT starting from the famous 328 Katong Laksa to the Eurasian Heritage Gallery outside the former president Nathan's house including the famous indian temple along the road.
Nice to know that you got to walk around Joo Chiat area, and see many interesting old houses and lovely murals I didn't do a full walk along Joo Chiat Road this time round as I got an appointment after the tea break. Will get a time to do a full walk along Ceylon road which you mention, it will be on my list. thank you.
Very upmarket now.. You probably missed the Dunman FC? Popular prata stall at the coffeeshop next to it. In the FC, check out the popular braised duck and tow kea pau (in the 60# - 80s original dish located at the coffeeshop at the junction of East Coast/Joo Chair) in the basement. Haven't been there for decades though.
I know where is Dunman Food Centre, was planning to do another visit some other time...lots of good food at this area...I some time wish I got bigger stomach to try more things in one visit...😅...think a lot of the old shops have closed and change to some, like you mention, upmarket cafes, or restaurants...Thank you for your tips about this area Uncle Choo. 🙏🏻🤭
@@ASimpleVideoSGCouple of years after I retired, I met Bond at a Indian food place along Joo Chiat. With wife, saw the shop and wanted to get prats. Then I saw Bond - the same one last time seeing prata at PLAB canteen! I was so happy and asked if I can have mee goreng the way he did when we were in PLA. Alas, no cuz he's not the one frying. Still it was good to see him. I just missed that extra spicy taste that I had in the AD. Enjoy your walkabouts and the food!
Good video . But a suggestion . Petition to remove the ka Ching photo camera sound in the beginning of the video … can be change to something else instead 😂😂
OK, noted, but got to wait for awhile as I have already upload a few videos with this...think after Next Thursday I will not use that sound effect...thank you for your feedback.

Interesting building 19:55 黑土地美术馆 - The Black Earth Art Gallery. Apparently been around for over 10 years.
